Parking Ticket

What happens if I don't pay a parking ticket? It's supposed to be a $20 fine but it was never on the online system so I couldn't pay with a credit card, which is basically the only means I had or cash. I called and got a real bitch who said I had to pay $40 and there was no way out. I just wanna know what is gonna happen if I don't pay.

You just don't want to get pulled over with unpaid parking tickets. then there might be some problems.

If you don't pay the parking ticket it will change to a warrant. A warrant means the next time you get your name run in NCIC or the FCPD system they will arrest you and take you to the station to pay it. You pay it and you're free to go.

I'm not sure but they may now also refuse to renew your license at DMV until you pay the ticket.
