The Spooky Movie Film Festival will be held at Cinema Arts Theatre at Fair City Mall in Fairfax, Virginia October 12-14. The best horror, sci-fi, fantasy, independent and underground films will come together to give Washingtonians something to scream about this season! Admission is $8.00 per screening; $10.00 for our opening night double-feature; and $20.00 for a weekend festival pass, available at the box office. fuck cinema arts, it's a bunch of stuck up jackasses from fairfax city. i went there after they were bought out or whatever and there was an usher that announced after a preview for roadtrip that "we'll never play any trash like that at this fine theater." so all you fucking dumbasses that are so much more refined than the people around you can go and die in a fire. i will never go there and i discourage ANYONE from going there. fuck them and if you like them, fuck you too.

Gravis you should know this film festival is not programed by that crappy theater.
I hate that place for the same reasons you do. I can tell ya that this Spooky Fest is not bad since its programed by the people the run the fest. Couple of my friends went last year and thought it was a good event.

They're not playing Dawn of the Dead, it's not a legitimate film festival. I do like that theater though, they don't carry much garbage from Rob Schneider or that shitty Roadtrip movie.
