There's a new Chick-Fil-A on that corner. I thought it was a bank branch when I first saw the red brick building.

Well, is it hot and spicy, bbq/teriyaki, or traditional American fried chicken?

While Chick-Fil-A is just off of Rt. 50 at the Fairfax Circle, I'm quite sure this other place - Bon Chon chicken is located on that side street that goes directly in front of Home Depot and runs between Picket Road and the Old Lee Highway. If that's correct, then this Bon Chon Chicken resides in the stand-alone restaurant that at one time actually used to be a Pizza Hut restaurant up until 10 or 15 years ago.

WRONG!!

The new Bon Chon Ckicken in the strip-mall located directly across from the Home Depot. You are correct about the street location, but the stand-alone Pizza Hut building you speak of is still a Sushi restaurant called Kawata.

If you are facing Kawata, then Bon Chon is to the left, in the adjecent strip-mall.

Which Home Depot? Wrote:

No. That's the West Ox Home Depot. The Home Depot that is being referred to is the one at Fairfax Circle - about 6 or 7 miles East of where the West Ox Home Depot and Costco are located.

This reminds me of the frenzy when Pollo Campero first opened up in this area. The freakin beaners went nuts and before you know it, everyone else was waiting in 2-hour lines too.

Of course, you can walk into Pollo Campero at high noon nowadays and get served with no wait.

Yes, there's three strip malls there.

1) Southwest of Fairfax Circle - Lotte Plaza
2) Southeast of Fairfax Circle - Home Depot
3) Northeast of Fairfax Circle - Permance Bicycles, Hudson Trail Outfitters, and Office Depot or Staples

I believe Bon Chon Chicken is at the strip mall #3 which has the Ruby Tuesdays in the front.

I haven't been to Boston Market in a long time but they've really jacked up prices for eat-in. It cost $34 for the three of us to have the chicken dinners with 1 leg and 1 breast and the two side dishes and no desserts.

They're probably very niggardly with their portions, Korean eating establishments are known for being cheap. Especially with portion sizes, condiments, silverware and napkins.

Are you fucking retarded? the amount of Korean food you're given at a typical restaurant would feed a grizzly bear. I ate at this one all-you-can-shove-down-your-gullett place in Annandale and didn't need to eat for a week after I left. I was shitting kimchi for a month. Didn't even digest it. Came out pristine, just like it went in.

I've eaten there 3 times since it opened, wait's have varied between 30min to 2.5 hours....worth every minute of the wait. And they aren't racist at this one like the annandale location non-koreans receive excellent service in the restaurant, Downside: they dont have their alcohol license yet so no beer :(
Long live Bon Chon Chicken

You're paying for the year's worth of sodium you get with every meal.

Best fried chicken around. It takes 40 minutes to double-slow-fry the chicken. The skin is extra crispy and the chicken is juicy. They only serve fresh chicken, never frozen. mmmm, bon chon.....
