I've been visiting this site for over a year or so now, and it seems like every thread is ful of hatred and "You're Stupid", or "Dumbass", or just anything vile against any other person who has posted.

I only started posting today when I saw the County Decal thread, because that did concern me and wanted advice, otherwise, mostly I see Hatred.

Why?

If you didn't like what someone said, why not just move on? Why take the time to post something like, "You dick."?

I'm sure I'll get many of these types of responses for starting this tread. I think FU is a great place for local info and stuff, but the hatred just boggles my mind. Even between people who appear to be "friends", then turn around and cuss the other out, of mak a nasty comment.

Just wondering why everyone in Fairfax hates each other, especially here.

If this group collectively did something, it may actually accomplish something, but everyone is too busy busting everyone else's chops.

I have a confession to make.

I'm a bit of a drama addict at time. I've been using FU for the last few months to blow off steam by trolling random posts. I've redirected the drama from other areas of my life. Rather than trade hateful texts with my ex-boyfriend (which leads to us getting back together), I blow off on this forum. Sometimes I offer helpful contributions, sometimes I'm snarky or just trolling. I don't think I've been mean, but I have definitely trolled. I come for the laughs, and hopefully I've provided a few too.

True Story, is actually my best friend. A lot of shit has happened in our lives since living in NoVa, but we do our best to add to people’s lives in real life & on FFU. We are not perfect, but think FFU is a good sounding board & stress relief for everyone that visits. I do my best not to be vicious, as defense is my speciality. She knows I do what I can to protect people, but will take the asshole level to the max when I need to. I’ll will do my best to make people laugh on FU & if you troll me, no hard feelings. True Story, you are a special girl & glad we are still in this together.
