Does anybody know anything about that creepy redhead guy who always hangs out around giant on Stone Road? I always see him with young highschool girls and he looks to be 20 something. Something just dosent seem right about him. He's always wearing black and has peircings on his lip.

This is still a young man. If you have every watched the show " Intervention" on on a&e it will make you feel for kids like this. I hope my kids never turn to this but I may never know till they are older. You can have great parents and still be a fuck up.

whoaaa everyone's got it all wrong. The reason so many high school girls hang out with him is because he's a genuinely nice guy.I mean they're pretty much all seniors anyway. There are dozens of kids at that shopping center on a daily basis who skateboard over there from their houses nearby to get mcdonalds or starbucks or just to hang out at a local area where they are bound to run into people they know. if he's talking to girls and trying to make friends that makes him like every other person on the planet. If his style of dress and appearance doesn't appeal to you, that's fine. You probably don't appeal to him, but don't think you're any better just because you dont have piercings or tattoos.
As for him being a ginger and deserving to die, that is the most absurd discriminatory comment i've read. You're no different than hitler and his nazis if you want to go around telling people to die or trying to kill them because they're not " just like you". If he parties and smokes cigarettes that is his choice. He's over 18 and can smoke cigarettes and he's over 21 so he can drink alcohol. What he does with his life in no way whatsoever concerns you. i would like to add to this forum, considering how humorous it is. ben is in fact a very humble person, he is quiet, and most often then not he is in his own little world. he has friends from all over, and most people who meet him enjoy his company, whether they be young or old. if i could only name the countless number of legal adults that have in fact no job, that loiter in the stone shopping center, maybe people wouldn't be as concerned with him. the majority of these photos that have been posted, are from when he was in high school. to say that he is a druggie, and a pedophile isn't saying much, considering we do live in the centreville/chantilly area. all of these complaints and threats are irrelevant. not many folks in the area really know him personally. he is in fact not homeless. i am not a drug addict, and neither is he. he is 22 and has the right to drink and smoke cigarettes. let the man be. ~that is a hookah for all you really dumb fucks who don't know better.

The court case is really kind of up in the air. He was sleeping in a tent in the woods near Westfield HS with another homeless man. Knowing both of them personally, I can say with some certainty that Ben is innocent of of the Credit Card Larceny. The other hobo went car-hopping almost every night through Chantilly (thus acquiring his stash of credit cards) and used the money to buy weed for the both of them. They chopped down trees for fire, that's the Destruction of Property.The other hobo used the tent to stash all of his stolen goods (Ben was usually too high to go out and steal with him) and Ben was caught sleeping when the Police came to the tent. Hobo #2 was out buying alcohol, I think... Anyways, Ben is in jail and the other homeless guy is on the lamb after some of the neighborhood residents learned what his name was and reported him as the thief breaking into their cars. He's got a warrant out for his arrest on something like twenty five counts of breaking and entering an automobile.

This kid is a degenerate, no doubt about that. And while the pile on here seems kind of cruel at first glance, you cannot deny this fact. He has no job, no prospects, he uses drug, steals, destroys private property and spoons with other hobos in a tent. Sounds like a loser to me.

It's come to my knowledge, that someone is posing as me on this thread. (HAHA) I in fact am Ben's REAL girlfriend. Whether any of you know him or not, yes he does need to get his shit straight, and stop fucking up. Yes, he is still in jail, and should be getting out mid-may or early June, if all goes well in court. Ben made poor choices, and he is going to take the fall for both of the men that were back in the woods, unfortunately. When he gets out he does in fact have a "plan" to get a job, and to live with me, and be on probation until he grows up a little. He knows what he did, and has been doing with his life, is wrong. I honestly think, this has been a reality check for him. He is back on the medication he needs, and will more then likely change his attitude towards life.

In fact all your negativity here, Mr. Lamka is currently incarcerated at the Adult Detention Center. So you are in fact wrong with such assumptions. I am by no means justifying what he did it was wrong all these counts, but if he truly does have a drug and or alcohol problem he needs help. I having been a now rehabilitated previous addict know just how detrimental alcohol can be. I have sympathy for those with addiction, yet lose tolerance when they just accept it and do not do anything to better themselves.

A friend of mine has a kid the same age with lots of the same kind of problems. So based on this experience I am reluctant to judge. This kid is really, really difficult to help. In this information age economy, there is no place in any longer for this kid to land to develop life skills, work habits, understanding authority and rules, and so on. And worse yet, he has awful dealings with the criminal justice system, meaning jail and facing charges that an ordinary middle class kid (with parental support and any sense of guile and self-awareness) would have had dismissed. He has started out behind with the criminal justice system, and just has little chance to catch up. Each year after he has turned 18 provides him with increasingly less compassion from virtually every institution he deals with. And self medicating with drugs works better for his problems than the health care he obtains - and this is not a knock on the health care system per se - he wouldn't know how to exploit it to look out for himself if there was a free clinic on every block. I see no alternative but to try to impose accountability, but heck, even if with money and some power at hand, it is really difficult to help a kid whose formative young adult years have been spent being homeless. There is simply no wiring, so to speak. Going to prison almost seems inevitable, and while I am no bleeding heart, it does bother me that we simply don't know how to deal with young men who do not have the life skills to come close to playing the game. And all the more jarring because I am like many other suburban guys who like to momentarily delude themselves to think it is a relative paradise where this stuff doesn't take place. I view his plight as well as the individual talked about here as a real problem given the immense decline of the manufacturing and agricultural labor markets.

I have noticed that some people enjoy laying around getting high more than they enjoy going to work. Some people also get lots of freaky piercings and / or tattoos so that no one will hire them, then lay around getting high because they can't find a job.

I know Ben. Not very well, but I used to hang out with him and two other dudes (Alex Woolridge and Moe Is) in Springfield back in 2010 and '11. They loved getting stoned then going to spend the rest of the evening at hookah bars. Alex was pretty shady, but Ben always seemed pretty chill and laid back. Wasn't aware he was homeless or maybe in jail. Hope he gets his life straightened out!
