what are the laws in va on handguns. I know where i came from you had to be 21 to buy the handgun but you 18 to own or poss. it. because my dad bought me a hand gun when i turned 18, then had it re-registered in my name. Is it like that here in VA?

18 to own, 21 to buy.
VA does not register guns, so don't worry about that.

Better buy a cheap gun, once Hillary gets in they will all be melted down anyway. The new American symbol will not be the Bald Eagle but the sickle and hammer

if america votes in hillary, we will no longer be a world power. See, in other countries where women dont have so many rights, seeing a woman in a position of power would anger the terrorists.

Virginia Arms in Manassas is not cheap but decent selection. I only buy from gun shows, which you will find at the Dulles Expo center every 3 or 4 months, you tend to get slightly better deals there but not drastic savings.

I don't trust an 18-year-old to get my burger order right. Why on earth would I trust them with a gun?

My son is 18 years old and has been shooting and hunting with me since he
was old enough to hold a gun. Now that he's 18 he is legally allowed to
go hunting or to our private gun club without me. I trust him totally.
He has also introduced some of his friends to the shooting sports and
they have become enthusiasts too. BTW, when I was 18, I was carrying an
Army issue M-14 and wearing an Expert Riflemans Badge. Guess the Army
seemed more appealing than getting the order right for your burger.

the real question you should ask is "why should a self-righteous and pompous bastard like myself trust anyone that isnt just like me?" if you dont want to trust him on the earth then perhaps you can trust him when you put yourself in the earth.

Please don't buy a gun until you graduate from 2nd grade!

I thought George W Bush took care of our "no longer a world power" status thing. I mean, do you know the dollar is now worth less than the Canadian Looney for God's sake, and the dollar's purchasing power throughout Europe is pathetic.

Oh, and there is this war we are in that is costing us dearly. It took us like four years just to secure the airport road there.

You think we are still a "world power" after the last five or six years? Europeans laugh at us for electing Alfred E Newman twice. Condi's last visit to Russia was an embarrassment. The President's recent visit to Australia was comical to the rest of the world. We are a world power? Not anymore my friend, and we all know who to thank.

Yes, because I am yearning for European approval.

FUNdamental,

do you really think we have lost our influence even if there is an economic recession happening? hell, the very fact that the dollar has dropped is making a huge difference in the world right now. if the US decided to go crazy, jihad style, we could make this whole planet uninhabitable. influential enough for you?

take a lap.

Yeah, the dollar isn't worth... well a dollar. Our US currecy is sliding downward against all other currencies.

I don't think the US went "jihad", but GW made some very poor choices, and now we pay for it.

Yep, we can nuke the crap out of everything, but that is not in our best interest. Although, a Mid-Easet "Glass Parking Lot" seems like a good idea right now.
