I used Pope's AC and the semmed to go a good job, were on time, nice to deal with and appeared to have all the necessary equipment.

I also used Pope's AC with a coupon for free drier vent cleaning and the whole house clean as well. On the day they were supposed to be there for some reason they didnt come, so they came first thing in the morning the next day and did it for half price

I paid $500 for a 7,000 sq foot house with two heating systems. My old town house was 2,500 sq ft was around $300 I believe.

i belive i payed 150 for my cleaning which x2 makes 300 as well.
THe guy showed me the pile of shit that come out of my vents and i was like wow. Then he showed me the pile of shit that came out of my dryer vent and i was like holy damn. The pile of dust from the dryer vent was about 3/4 the size of the pile from the rest of the house.
After the cleaning, my house gets cooler faster when i put the A/C on and my dyers makes clothes dry a lot faster (<30 mins or so as opposed to 45-1 hour)
so id say its not a waste of money.

BTW...I was NOT referring to dryer vents/ducts...they can be a fire hazard if gunked up.
I've owned 30+ houses...and have used this HVAC guy exclusively on all of them....so I've been a good customer. My reward is that he does not bullshit me.
His HVAC company has a duct cleaning subsidiary...he says because many customers insist on it (they watch too much tv, he says). He told me to spend my money on something worthwhile.

I am moving into a house that had two dogs, over the course of 3 years. That pet hair is all over the air ducts I bet. So thats one of the reasons I wanna clean them.

So you have owned 30 some houses. How do your find the time to be on this web site if your so busy flipping houses. Duct cleaning is important. I have been in the Home Building Industry for 20+ years. Mold builds up and so does dirt and debris. You might want to check with another HVAC comapanies opinion.

I guess everybody has their own experience or opinion on this. It seems logical to me that if you clean the dryer vent yourself, you can find out how clooged up these vents get, especially if it has not been done over several years. I tried it and I was quit amazed how much stuff came out of the vent. The dryuer vent cleaner I was referring to has a website, which is www.pmdryervents.com

I was skeptical about the value of air duct cleaning as well but my son is alleric to cats and we moved into a house that had three fo them so I went ahead and paid for it. I did see lots of cat hair as it come out of my ducts. I guesss I feel better about it, but not sure if it made any real difference is air quality.

Hey guys! I faced a problem with air duct cleaning. The best decision for me was the combo of soap and water for my pressure washer. I have read that it adds attractive forces for a double whammy for grime. There are some washer soaps and detergents which will help you to clean the air duct by yourself. It is my secret to effective and easy cleaning. I hope that it will be useful for you

Recently I had a problem, the ventilation stopped working, I began to think what was wrong because this situation did not suit me. Instead of much thought, I turned to HVAC Cleaning Manhattan for help because these guys are the best in the business. They arrived quickly, cleaned everything for me and brought my ventilation into working condition

I do not use or cover the car with a cover, I use ceramic coating for cars to protect the car from external influences. The ceramic coating and best steamer for car detailing will protect, repair and won't require wax with every wash. The car continues to shine like new, without wax or polish.

Before you go ahead and book any air duct cleanings, you should do your research on the company. There are are a lot of scams in the business and know what to avoid will save you a ton of heartache and money! If you see any company listing their service as a $99 air duct cleaning then let me tell you its a ripoff!
