Top NFL Recieving Corps Of All Time

Just saw on NFL channel this weekend that they put the Redskins receiving corp of Art Monk, Gary Clark, and Ricky Sanders as the number 8 of all time. I believe this is too low. I think top 5 easy. Lets get some thought on this and who you think the top 10 should be.

And go.......

Keep living in the past. That's all Redskin fans have right now.

This list is totally bogus if it doesn't have Albert Connell/James Thrash/Irving Fryar from the 2000 Redskins lineup ranked pretty high.

Damn skippy! We be the historic victors, and the modern failures!

Who can forget the Ol' Ball Coach's "Fun and Gun" powerhouse triumvirate of Darnerien McCants, Rod Gardner and Chris Doering?

I noticed the NFL Network is rolling out some new "Top 10s." Last week one episode featured the Top 10 Shortest Players.

Time to put the Top 10 series in mothballs for a while.

Hey dumb asses. Isn't this suppose to be a list of the top 10 receiving corps of all time. Good God, get it done right. Not just Redskin receivers.

Here's #1 of all time: Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Jake Reed, w/Robert Smith out of the backfield back from Minnesota late 90's.

What about 49er's with Rice, Taylor, Clark, and Roger Craig?

Come on now. I need to be reminded of all the great one's out there.

#1 - Jerry Rice and anybody

Hey, they did it for top CB tandems - Deion Sanders and anyone!

I would have to put Issac Bruce/Torry Holt up there.

I'll throw my hat in the Air Coryell ring. Along with having an HOF trio in Fouts, Joiner, and Winslow, the Air Coryell offense is the forerunner to the extensive passing games we see today. All of the famous passing games from the early 80's on owe a little something to the Charger teams of the late 70s and early 80's. These guys still hold the record of leading the league in receiving yards for 6 consecutive seasons.
