Ok, I read through the posts about the Centreville teacher being fired for having an affair with a student or affairs with a number of students. I mean what a sad, sad situation but it got me to thinking.

I remember hearing about a guy who was the girls' basketball coach at one of the high schools in FCPS. Turned out he was having hot tub parties with some of the girls, not sure if he was sexually involved, but I remember seeing him once and can't imagine any high school girl being attracted to him. Nonetheless, he was fired, and appropriately so.

So, no reason a guy can't coach a girls' team, no problem there. Obviously he can't or shouldn't go in the locker room. Right?

Well think about this, there have been quite a few female coaches of girls teams that were/are lesbians. So, there attraction is to girls also, should they be allowed in a locker room? I don't think so. As I recall, and it's been quite few years now, but it seems that many of the female PE teachers were lesbians, should they be allowed in girls' locker room? I don't think so.

This is just plain dumb. Who cares who goes in what locker room? As long as they don't touch anybody or make lewd comments, it's fine. If you are worried about somebody getting their jollies by looking at your body, you have got a BIG problem. Get a life.

So you think it would be ok for a male coach of a girls team to be in a locker room while they were changing clothes or after showering?

Somehow I don't think that would meet with universal acceptance!

We had a male coach and he was gay. Never came into our locker room but he did go in the boys.

Swimmers, gymnasts, and dance team have the best bodies and faces. If you're pedo and want a FCPS job, I would apply to those positions....

What a crap job. Holy cow I would die if I had teach the kids of today. It is not the kids but the AWFUL parents who come from Nothern Virginia. At my bus stop we have moms who bitch about everything at school. The poor teachers and staff who have to take this shit. One boss is bad but what about 28-30.

Perfect example of what I'm talking about. Should a male gay coach be allowed in a boys' lockeroom, a gay femail coach in a girls' lockeroom?

To me , the obvious answer is no.

Send him over to Loudon County like we did Paul Oliver who is now at Mercer Int. He bounce around three schools in FFC until he was shown the door.
