And that is exactly what she and her husband were counting on. Remember, this is not the first time she has stolen money. At her last paying job in Washington, D.C. a few years ago she was fired for stealing over $200K.

I hear she's allowed out once a week to run errands and do stuff for her kids. She was obviously allowed out to move. I assume she has the xxxxl ankle bracelet on. I bet even if she's paying the school back, and that's a big IF, it's only a small sum. She probably has some bullshit excuse that she doesn't have enough money and can't afford to pay them back. Why isn't the Navy school more angry about the injustice of this? Come on people.......call the district attorney and have this looked into! Demand she pay more each month. He certainly had to wonder how they lived like they did: eating out constantly, buying the newest electronics, weekly manicures and pedicures, shopping at Norstrum, most expensive camps for thier kids when in the past 7 years, he was out of work 2 of them. There are a least a hundred witnesses as she was at the Dulles Golf and Batting Cage on RT. 28 near Dulles from mid day until 9 at night with a joint graduation party for her son. Even if they put the information in a file, it never hurts to still have a paper trail for when she keeps violating her house arrest. She certainly has not learned her lesson. She just keeps flipping everyone off by her actions

Everybody needs to take it easy on this. I personally know the family and the son who got the scholarship and he is a great kid. Don't punish him because his parents are losers, that should have nothing to do with him. He is a hard working good kid and it's unfortunate his parents are who they are. No need to make a big deal about this story the kid earned that scholarship and shouldn't have to hear about how it's wrong and that he doesn't deserve it because of his parents. Rip the parents all you want just don't bring the kid into this at all.

I am a cynical person by nature and very skeptical of people like Litsa. But I have found that 90% of people out there want to believe that all people are good and trustworthy. When the con artists out there start stroking the egos of their "marks," that seals the deal.
Let this be a warning to the folks in Chantilly and others in the future who may deal with Litsa. I don't know the woman, but make no mistake. Prosecutors don't charge people with crimes for shits and giggles and people don't plead guilty to crimes they haven't committed. This is a warning.

She will do it again...she did it when she worked downtown for an association and the way that was brought out was by a poster on here who worked with her back then...so I agree, for the good of the community the info about Litsa needs to stay in the fore front on here....MOVE ON?? you gotta be kidding me...she hurt and betrayed so many people and she would not plead guilty and carry a record for crimes that she did not commit. There is not a more productive or positive cause then getting back the $180,000+ for Navy elementary school and preventing her from doing this again. she's done it twice already that we know of...We are passionate to prevent her from doing this again to another unsuspecting organization. as a matter of fact,she was treasurer before she was the Pres..and Yes, audits were done by volunteer Navy parents and the results of the audit were of course given to the President of the PTA , which was Litsa...

How is it possible that she is not in jail for what she did? Just because of her enormous size, she's given the one year home confinement? Sorry, but that's not enough of a punishment.

let's be very clear, she never really had any time where she was housebound 24/7. She was allowed a certain amount of time out on a weekly basis. She has not paid for her actions in any way at all. she has actually improved her living situation and she has to pay a pittance $40 a month as restitution. She is one sly bitch! I really want to believe in karma, but I don't see how her repetitive behavior has come to bite her in her fat ass.

Gasoline-electric hybrid cars contain the following parts:
Gasoline engine - The hybrid car has a gasoline engine much like the one you will find on most cars. However, the engine on a hybrid is smaller and uses advanced technologies to reduce emissions and increase efficiency.
Fuel tank - The fuel tank in a hybrid is the energy storage device for the gasoline engine. Gasoline has a much higher energy density than batteries do. For example, it takes about 1,000 pounds of batteries to store as much energy as 1 gallon (7 pounds) of gasoline.
Electric motor - The electric motor on a hybrid car is very sophisticated. Advanced electronics allow it to act as a motor as well as a generator. For example, when it needs to, it can draw energy from the batteries to accelerate the car. But acting as a generator, it can slow the car down and return energy to the batteries.
Generator - The generator is similar to an electric motor, but it acts only to produce electrical power. It is used mostly on series hybrids (see below).

Hybrid cars are not the only answer! Doubling the mileage of existing internal combustion engines would completely resolve our oil dependency issue!
