You could say the same about both sides.

The idea that taxes are too high is laughable. In terms of income tax rates they are lower than they have been in decades, and we have no Federal estate tax for the first time since (IIRC) WW1. One lie for the Republicans. However the tax cuts which resulted in those rates, plus some nice credits for middle income taxpayers, were passed in the early years of the Bush 2 administration when the Dems were not in power. One lie for the Democrats.

Obamacare is clearly a mess that was heavily influenced by special interests. Score one for Republicans. The system that it replaced was a mess that was heavily influenced by special interests, and Republicans fought to preserve it. Score one for Democrats.

Better schools. How many schools does the Federal government run? You'd think the Republicans would own this. However it was the Bush 2 administration that gave us all of this No Kid Left Behind crap.

Industry output is increasing, S&P 500 is like 20% up compared to last year, GDP output is increasing, Unemployment is coming down, industries are sitting on almost $3 Trillion in cash. If that is not change, I am not sure what it is. Took 8 years for us to go down the tube and Reps expect things to turn around overnight. Sucks, that Fairfax have run out of people who think with their heads on the top rather than the other head. Ce La Vie.

I hope they don't take credit for the economy that's recovering at a snail's pace. Instead, I'd like them to get into office and stop the useless bleeding of public tax dollars that the Democrats have voted on. End the social programs that are not needed and get things running in a more efficient manner. If that happens, then let them take credit for what they've done.

Those are your words, not mine. I don't have trouble with minorities. I do have trouble with illegals being in our country when they have no right to be here, though.

At some point you all may stop fighting long enough to figure out that you are just part of the machine. All the politicians and the media do is pit one of you against the other. Maybe flipping back and forth every 4 to 8 years is what makes our government work. It creates a balance. It has been this way since it began. So maybe the fact that you all hate the other guy and vote him out and vote what you perceive to be his/her opposite in every so many years is part of the plan. At the end of the road you probably will not define yourself as Republican or Democrat. You probably wont remember why you were so worried about who wins and loses. You will remember how worked up you got about something that has been this way for over 200 years and will have your grandchildren worked up in another 50.

I'm a Democrat and I'm voting for creepy Fimiam this time. That's how badly Connolly and the dems have messed things up. I can't stand pro life douche bags, but the dems have got to go.
