Is this the current state of Edison High School that people with questionable backgrounds are hired to coach and protect our children? The building may look nice on the outside, but an insidious odor permeates from the inside.

When I went to Edison in the 90's you were either in the library or cafetaria and there was no leaving. It is a shame that the school has gone down hill. When Fennell left and Croghan came the school went to shit.

The only thing impressive about Edison is the exterior front of the building.

Sounds like you are a former student who Coach Deck had to discipline. You know absolutely nothing about any of the 3 men you speak of. Did Coach Terry cut you from the JV program a few years ago. Did Berk Stoy say you couldn't act like an idiot when you attended games. Sherman Deck has done more for the boys at that school than most of their own fathers. If you have these accusations and you don't want to hide then put your name out here. And stop deleting all the positive posts. Making up new ones so you can pretend to have friends and a support system. Go back to school, get your ged, or pick up a broom and clean up after the high school kids smarter than you.

Went to school with Deck And Terry - both have no place where minds of the youth are concerned. They were complete idiots while attending Edison and were, most likely, hired because they were local and familiar names - not because they are qualified for their, or ANY, positions at the school.

Deck was, and is, a huge "poser" - trying to put on a tough front --- but, that is all it is - a front...he has been a coward from the beginning. Deck hiring Terry is like the dumb hiring the blind for help.

Since you are a graduate from Edison, you really don't need to be on this thread discussing high school issues especially AFTER you have graduated, right? But you have, so doesn't that include you in your pathetic analysis? Just saying :)

I just want to point out that the database on this site merely lists arrests. What matters are convictions. Have you done any research to see whether Mr. Henderson was actually convicted of any of those offenses?

First of all,my kids respect Sherman Deck. I have had three attend edison, my youngest is still there. As far as Terry Henderson is concerned, I worked with terry at coca-cola in the 90's. I have no doubt that Mr. henderson is in the proper position and will lead Edison in the right direction.The person that is posting has nothing but hate in there hart.

Let me tell you about Sherman Deck. He is a piece of crap, looser, worthless human being, and a thug. The guy is a player, with other peoples wives, students, and parents. A few years ago, he ruined the marriage of one of the fat whore secretaries at Annandale. Basically, he turned her into a slut for his amusement and ruined her marriage and her children. He destroyed six peoples lives. The sad part is that the school staff knew about it and did nothing. If you have a student at Annandale, watch him with your kid. The guy is dangerous. I cannot believe the school still kept him, even after one of my classmates reported the relationship to the county. He hangs around thuggish people so I'm not surprised he hired another piece of shit like him. This guy is a cancer to the school, the community, and in life in general. Too bad the code is fictional in Dexter. Sherman Deck would be a perfect candidate for the table. He talks a good game, seems nice and professional, but he is the Aaron Hernandez of Annandale.

Sherman Deck was a classmate of mine. He’s a smart guy and always has been. What I do know personally is he protected me from bullying, from mean girls and helped me in the weight room. He coached my little brothers too. His man is loved and respected. Whatever happened I pray you get over it or through it. Spreading your hate does nothing but breed hate.
