Fimian's business is a nationwide home inspection firm. And, no, it wasn't a matter of not paying taxes. It was some clerical error in regards to submitting I-9 forms (I believe) on behalf of some new employees. That's quite a bit different than totally avoiding the tax man for several years.
If you want a good case of avoiding the IRS, just look into Marion Barry's past. How many years did he avoid paying taxes by just not filing his tax forms? He didn't even get a day of jail out of it either.
Now, you Connolly folks are really starting to fish pretty hard here. Maybe, you should read a bit more into the actual facts about this issue with Fimian and how hard it was to consistently connect with the IRS to get this situation resolved.
Is your internal poll data showing you in such a bad light that you've now pulled out all the punches you can to feed ol' Gerry that last breath of oxygen to get him over the finish line on November 2nd? Yeah, I thought so.

well, first of all, i am a republican and i was just pointing the hole in his statement, regardless of whatever his political affiliation may be. personally, i wouldn't have bought it in the first place, especially for a measly 15 bucks profit, dummy. after taxes and no capital improvements, he would still be in the red.

Connolly needs to take a very long vacation outside our area and outside of Washington DC. As a Congressman he has done nothing. His circulars reflect he has followed a Republican agenda but looking at the record all he has done is followed Pelosi. He ruined Fairfax County and ensured vast corruption was institutionalized. Cable TV, for instance, why is there no competition? Connolly. Bad news and he needs to go.
