Hey, does anyone know where I could find or buy some Datura Stramonium, or any other species of it? Has anyone ever tried it? I hear it grows in Fairfax but had no luck so far.

I'm sure it grows around here, but read some of the 'trip experiences' on Erowid.com first. Datura is seriously poisonous, and the effects, if they don't kill you, are akin to acute mental illness. It's called Devil's Weed for a reason. I know someone who did this back in college, and he ended up getting arrested (while he was naked) and then spent a few days in intensive care. It ended up ruining his life temporarily, and he didn't really remember anything about the entire episode. It's not goofy shit like acid or pot, it's something that can fuck you up permanently. One thing I remember my friend telling me was that he had trouble reading small print for weeks afterward, like his eyes were fucked up and the letters moved around and melted together. He also spent time in jail for stuff he couldn't remember doing (broke into a place, jumped out a window, scared a whole neighborhood, and walked out onto a highway). He's lucky he didn't die from the poison effects, let alone the stuff it caused him to do.

This isn't a street drug. Do not do this.

Yeah not recreational at all. I don't see a reason to fuck with it. It's classified on Erowid as a "deliriant". The only deliriant I believe I've used to get high was nutmeg...and it was a BIG mistake. I felt like I was paralyzed, was very disoriented and frightened, and don't remember some parts of the experience.

Look into DMT. I never did it, but many species contain it naturally, and I'm SURE there must be a place in Fairfax where one of those species is growing. It's in Mimosa bark. Go down to Mimosa Tree Ct. in South Riding LOL

DMT has to be a better choice than Datura.

Yeah. Datura always seemed very sketch to me due to the fact that it contains toxic alkaloids. I assumed there were low concentrations of these toxic alkaloids and that many users (from the experiences I've read) end up in the hospital or die because they have no knowledge of the plants toxic properties and take however much they think is right or they have a slow onset and take more to achieve a quicker onset. But from what you've told me and from the research I've done on this plant, trying it doesn't sound like a good idea.

Haha. Nutmeg. My friends tried it and i dont exactly remember how his experience was like but, yeah. Datura along with nutmeg is a delirant and more than anything, I just want a psychedelic. And DMT, (In my opinion) is a way better choice than datura. I haven't done it yet either but am having a friend extract it from some Phalaris arundinacea that we picked. Should be tight.
