Okay, so today when I was going to work, I saw a cop standing on the sidewalk on pinecrest road with a laser gun taking down people's speeds.

Just thought you guys should know.

I didn't even know FFX police use lasers.... I thought they only use radars?

On the GW Pkwy, the US Park Police frequently have someone stading on the
side of the parkway with a laser pointed at on-coming traffic.

Ive recently noticed a very sneeky bear trap.
going east on 66.. they sit on access/exit road that takes you on 7100 ffx co pkwy. And LIDAr the cars on 66E. There would be no way to see them, and then go down the access ramp and pick you up... sneaky little faulkers..

Time to get a laser jammer.. and yes they work great.. I installed it in my friends car. It jammed the gun from 3000 down to 3 feet away.. very impressive.. but its a wopping $700

"somebody jammed the radar"
"what is it?"
" Its rasberry sir!"
" There is only one man who would dare give me the rasberry"

Nice of some FFX officer to help you test it out.

All but one of the FCPD Officers I have seen lately (at stationary locations) have been utilizing laser (gun) technology. It is used by motorcycle patrolmen, in cruisers, by officers standing on the side of the road. Anywhere stationary.

In that other instance, the cruiser was hidden at night in the grass and was using radar. VASP still utilize radar amongst other methods as well.

Times & technology are changing!

You can actually buy used police LIDAR guns on EBAY for reasonable prices.. I use mine for logging my time/ET at the drag strip...

Never found a real need in this area for a detector. Who the hell can get up speed with some granny in the left lane going 20 mph under the limit or some chinaman with a death grip on the wheel in the left lane with his turn signal on for six miles.
