It's properly referred to as "Midgetville" (Unless you're referring to Commie midgets somewhere). The last I heard, they shut the place down and razed it. There were far too many instances of midget-on-midget violence, so they decided to ship them all off to Tora Bora (Where they're now referred to as "Cave Dwelling Hobbits").

Midgetville was a real place until they razed it a couple of years ago to build a bunch of McMansions. It's now called "Wedderburn Estates." Personally, I would have gone with "Midgetville Heights," but something tells me the developers didn't think that'd be a hot seller. You used to be able to see the old midget-friendly property through the Google Maps satellite images until they recently updated them.

I hear Mighty Midgo got a raw deal on the sale and has been reduced to panhandling at Seven Corners. Poor bastard's lost his mind and keeps ranting about reviving the place as a midget haven. The least they could do is make that damn place more accessible for our vertically-challenged friends.

Wait until the new McMansion residents start discovering that items are missing from their homes. What they dont know, is that there still exists a midget race dwelling in the subterranean caverns underneath the 'Ville, and they'll tunnel into basements for easy access. Just some cottages built for weekend retreats for artists - off of a railroad line coming out of DC. Over the years people took the small houses as "midgetville" - never existed except in the Urban legend world.

They won't be a bunch of short sales on the new properties because it isn't developed yet...it is Wedderburn Estates and you can go buy one of the houses now to be built...they cleared the property 2 or 3 years ago on the corner of Cedar Lane and the bke path. They are just starting to build now.

They lived there until developers bought the Wedderburn parcel and erected Wedderburn Estates. Today, Wedderburn Estate properties are individually valued @ +/- $1.5m. The inhabitants are a mix: Koreans, Inians, Pakis, some Africans and several Anglo families as well.

Why don't the developers build out a neighborhood of diminutive houses for the little folks? They could advertise the village all over the country and many would come to the area for the housing and plentiful jobs.
