The moms were making special requests for their subs while there little girls raised hell in the resturaunt. The moms were talking down to the subway employees and just swimming in lake Me! I thought that this was more sickening than the Clifton cunt mothers that I encounter at Wegmans but im not sure.
The sad thing is that their kids will grow up to be bigger selfish cunts than these moms are.

I work for a big local hvac company. Noone wants to run service in the Mclean great falls area because the people who live there are generally foul. We always make the new guys work that area. Once in awhile I will have to run some calls in Mclean and I do my best to screw those people over. Nicest people in the region are the Koreans in annandale they are also big tippers. Rich people with class that are nice mostly in Middleburg and Fauquier county.

I know plenty of classy people in McLean, so I have no idea what parts you're used to (I know of snobs as well, but there are plenty of cool folks in McLean/Great Falls). I guess it's sort of hit-or-miss.

Middleburg is just off the charts. Some cool folks out there with a lot of property, but there's a lot of weirdos out there too.

The rich in Middleburg are mostly "old money" people, so they have been brought up to not flaunt their money. That's why you can find them driving old beat up trucks and wearing jeans and flannel shirts. The rich in McLean are mostly "new money" people, so they think they have something to prove since deep down they know that they are really no better than the rest of us. Seriously, if you walk down the street in Middleburg and you see people who look middle class, they are probably VERY rich but if you see someone who looks rich, he is most likely just visiting for the day.

I'm from the Midwest and it's exactly the same out there. There are some very rich farmers who come to the store with overalls on. They look poor, but definitely are not. The people who flaunt their money are really the ones who don't have so much, but want other people to think they do. They are also the real whiners about everything---think their flash means something.

Lots of old money in The Plains as well. Down to earth folks out there.

You think that's bad, try waiting in line behind a bunch of middle aged back women, they are horrible, they will ask for the most ridiculous sandwich like 1 onion 3 different types of cheese and then ask if that's extra and bitch. people from falls church seem nice but falls church itself always seems dirty and dis-organized.

I will be honest. this entire area is filled with snobbish self centered people. If assholes could fly this area would be an international airport.
When i leave NVA for a vacation or work, i'm always floored by the attitude of people here when i return.

Its hard to defend great falls. Have you sen the parking lot at Langley high-you can tell the vast difference between the kids and the teachers cars. Tough question because I find this area replete with assholes, from all sectors, all the time-just driving will tell you that. In Clifton, where I live the men are also super offensive in their mass produced mid life crisis sports cars, one cut me off yesterday-and they NEVER have eye contact. But for the geography- I love Clifton, it is a beautiful place just for the reasons you mention, that there are still real horse places, not fake ones...it is a geographically beautiful place and I certainly cannot say that about McLean, which to me is hideous - full of mcmansions, as are some parts of Great Falls (some parts are beuatiful, but still too many hideous mosque looking mcmansions). This is an older post, but I just had to comment on this and how uninformed the poster is.

Langley High School should be called Great Falls High School.

McLean High School has the bulk of the McLean kids attending it.

Langley High School has far more Great Falls kids attending then McLean kids. Any although there are families outside the Beltway that are technically considered McLean residents, they are not really in McLean, they are in Zipcode 22102 which is now called West McLean by the USPS, but it is technically Tysons Corner/Wolftrap. This is like Potomac, MD and North Potomac, MD, someone wanting to be considered in an area they are technically not.

Almost all of Great Falls attends Langley, where only a small percentage of McLean residents actually are in the Langley boundary and have kids that go to Langley.

Cliftonites think they're rich living in a exclusive area, but in reality it's a terrible location and the cost per sqft is pretty cheap down there for that reason. PWC should annex Clifton, shitty town with lots of confused yuppie rednecks. At least McLean is in a better location, smarter money and the wealthier live up there.

Not so sure about what you posted.

Great Falls kids go to Langley, but not many people with kids live in Great Falls any longer. It's too expensive and far away from everything. Most kids at Langley live in McLean - either 22101 north of Dolley Madison or 22102 - than Great Falls. You could call Langley "Great Falls HS," but for the fact that it's in McLean and closer to Arlington than it is to Great Falls.

McLean has kids from 22101 south of Dolley Madison and from 22102 if they live in Tysons apartments with McLean addresses, but many McLean students live in Falls Church or Vienna.

Langley girls look and act like Paris Hilton; McLean girls look and act like Jennifer Lawrence.

Clifton kids mostly go to Robinson, but there may be some at Centreville. Clifton has pretty much been forgotten every since FCPS decided to wipe its elementary school off the map.

You are totally out of touch with these statements. Even the Great Falls Citizens Association is so far out of touch with the old timers that have sat on this Association for 30 years have NO IDEA how many kids live in Great Falls. The problem is you never see kids outside in Great Falls because they have to be chauffeured every where. Buses pick most kids up in front of their houses as there are no sidewalks in most of the GF areas. There are far more kids in GF than you may think.

The reason so many people with kids move to Great Falls is they cannot afford to live inside the Beltway. But the stupid parents do not understand if their kids are going to Langley, TJ, Langley Private School or Potomac school they are sacrificing their kids free time and sleep by living so far out.

FCPS was stupid to expands Langley's boundary to include Great Falls in the first place. I used to have an office colleague that lived almost out to Rt 7 off of Rt 193 and before the school start times were changed about 10 years ago, his kids were the LAST bus stop picked up in the morning to get into Cooper or Langley at get this, 5:45 am!!! Yes the LAST stop picked up at 5:45 am.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. I am not even up until 6 am, much less would I expect my kids to get up before me in the morning.
