In 2010 Forbes lists 10 Northern Virginia zip codes as some of the most expensive in the country. One zip is near Manassas and a couple are Loudoun locations. The rest are "true" NOVA locations.

Manassas, the illegal immigrant armpit of VA.

I wonder where Reston falls on that list (If it were extended to include Reston).

Saw the list. They listed "North Potomac" as one of the cities. As far as I am concerned North Potomac is not a real place and even the United States Postal Service does not recognize it as such.

I have friends in Maryland who insist the live in North Potomac or West Potomac. You live in Rockville, Germantown or Gaithersburg people!

North Bethesda is a verbal stunt South Rockvillians have been trying to pull for years to ridicule and scorn from the knowledgable. It's like saying Merrifield is West Clarendon or something.

Look at the median household income, Great falls is higher than 9 out of the 10 most expensive zip codes. Some of the first 100 only have a a median income of 50,000-100,000 and live in 2 million+ dollar houses. It does not make sence to me.

Catharpin has nothing in common with PW County. Loudoun might as well just do a hostile takeover.

Surprised Clifton, Reston and Oakton didn't make the list.

Most of what people call Clifton is actually Fairfax Station and 22039 made the list.

I imagine the Clifton didn't make because of all the trashy townhouses that use the Clifton zip code.

Reston has some lower-income housing which (by design) reduces the income. There's also a fair deal of condos and TH's there too.

West Potomac, North Potomac, and North Bethesda are fictions created by Ghettosburg and Rockvile residents to feel better.
