So it sounds like the trainwreck that is Washington Post Radio is due to meet its end in the coming months...

...I heard the morning guy today calling the Washingtonian editor a "liar" because he wrote the the station's ratings are falling since Tony Kornheiser left. Well,the Washingtonian guy probably shouldn't have claimed that without actual ratings to back him up, but the fact is Washington Post Radio has NO listeners. And it's a big-time FM signal. Time to put more JACK shit on the radio.

My prediction: A major shakeup soon as formats and frequencies are switched around after Danny Synder Red Zebra takes over at least two of the frequencies.

Harry Jaffe is calling in to Washington Post Radio at 8:45 AM on Friday. That should attract more listeners...or will it.

they should hire the Greaseman. I've never heard his show but I know a lot of post readers would love to have him BACK on the air.

Greaseman's show was the epitome of bad radio, ugh. A very tiring schtick filled with embarrasingly unfunny bits and lame jokes, and his voice is annoying to the point of being offensive. I haven't actually heard his show since the early 90's when he was on WYSP, but I can't imagine he's gotten any better. And if he has gotten better, it's only because the competition has gotten worse.
