I gotta ask, what's with the ring on his pinky? Is that some kind of gay lingo? What does it communicate to the world? "I'm down with all sex including beasty, now give me your vote, friend"?

Here's a better view. Almost looks as though it's a snake wrap around for his pinky. Maybe it has no meaning. Just gay for gay's sake.
