The situation with Haynesworth has turned into such an unmitigated cluster-fuck. That, and the lack of improvement in personnel in so many positions, makes me think this is going to be very ugly. They may surprise me, but I kind of doubt it.

how exactly did you come up with 32 points?

2 tds and _6_ field goals?
4 tds and 2 _safeties_?
3 tds, 3 field goals, 1 safety?

You're forgetting that 2 point conversions are part of the NFL. Not used that often, but indeed used and successful about 50% of the time.

True. But is doubtful Dallas would be doing 2 point conversions if they had this kind of margin. Just like it would be doubtful that the Skins would settle for three field goals while trailing by such a margin.

Two reasons: 1) the Skins were historically the most racist team in the NFL. They were the last to allow blacks to play for them. The owner, GP Marshall, thought of the team as a "southern" team, which at the time it was. Or teams that win a lot of championships.(minus the raiders, no one likes the raiders) Bandwagon. Nuff Said.

Actually, you were dead on in terms of the points the skins offense would produce and given the fact that the skins D hasn't scored a TD in what, 5 years, there was no reason to expect that flukey fumble return TD to end the 1st half.

The skins and cowpokes look like mirror opposites of each other, the skins don't have the talent but finally have professional coaching while the pokes are coached by idiots but have tons of talent. It's starting to look like 9-7 is going to be good enough to win the NFC east.

I miss the old Gibbs 1/J. Johnson era days of this rivalry when both of these teams were the best in the league.

No, he is 100% correct. I've been to every Cowboys-Redskins home game since I can remember. I've met many a local Cowturn fan and most if not all local area fans...

Well, considering that only one of the 4 reasons you gave are the same as the one HE gave, he's not 100% correct, only 25% correct.

There are Cowboys fans that are Cowboys fans because their parents were Cowboys fans. Now those parents may have been Cowboys bandwagon fans from back in the day, but you cannot blame their offspring for their parents' original sin.
