DWI Checkpoint tonight (7/29/05) in the Sully District

Text from official news release:
Fairfax County Police Officers from the Sully District Station will conduct a sobriety checkpoint to deter and apprehend intoxicated drivers from 11 p.m. Friday, July 29 to 2:00 a.m. Saturday. All motorists will be stopped and drivers will be checked to assure that their abilities to drive have not been impaired by alcohol or drugs.

I live in the Sully district. This checkpoint will likely be somewhere along rt. 28 or rt. 29.
If anyone spots it give a post. Thanks.

Yeah of course. Three hours isn't much of a window.
Simply out of curiosity, not trying to avoid it. I know they've had them on New Braddock and 28 before.
It'll be posted in a couple days on the county website but i'm impatient.

They had it set up on Rt. 50 headed west at Stonecroft Blvd .. a little west of where 50 meets 28. Quite a light show.

I went 50 to stonecroft at 12:30 that night... definately not there then but I saw lights furthur up Rt50 where it meets Rt 28.

I know this is kinda late, but I got stopped in one of those, a while ago, it was on 29 going south, right after Lifetime Fitness and right before the rt. 66 underpass. That's probably where they set them up whenever they have sobriety checkpoints.
