What do you consider your favorite restaurant in Northern Virginia? In addition, what's your favorite meal?

Mine: Guapos in Shirlington; Carne Asada.

Pad Woon Sen- Busara, Tysons Corner
Sauteed Shrimp with Creamy Grits Cakes- Coastal Flats, Tysons Corner

Hong Kong Sea Bass - Coastal Flats, Fairfax Corner
Riddick Bowe - New York Deli, Tysons Corner

Sweetwaters, great beer and I never ordered a dish that tasted bad. Servers are friendly too.

Burger King, Falls Church- A.1. Steakhouse burger w/ chicken fries

New China King in Vienna is good ..They use organic cats and ponies! and everythin is freshly made

The entire menu at Tippy's Taco House. The one bright spot of Muddifield that still exists. Fucking Liberal Ass Wipes...keep your fucking hands OFF OF TIPPY's in your continuing mission to destroy Muddifield!!!

Tippy's is great.

Any of the greek stuff at Amphora is good too. My wife is greek and she swears by the gyro there.

If you want upscale, best restaurant I've been to in NoVA is 2941 in Falls Church.

Their coffee fucking sucks!!! But the waitresses can usually make up for that...

Cosmopolitan Resturant - Hybla Valley - Next to Gold's Gym

This place is a gem. The food is excellent, my favorite is little beef sausages on home made bread. They have schnitzel which is good, steak, fish, all in all an Eastern European menu.

No. Just better selection of quality restaurants. I've heard good things about Ray's, but haven't had the chance to eat there.

The problem with NoVA is most of the good restaurants are chains (even if they are very good chains like Sweetwater, Morton's or McCormick & Schmicks). Sometimes I like to switch it up a bit and get something that is really good, yet unique.

Ray's is great - as good as steak as Cap Grille, and you can get out of there for almost half the price, even with a bottle of wine.
