Anyone know the details on the traffic accident at Bull Run Post Office Road and Rt. 29?

Rt. 29 North is shut down.

yeah, the road exploded and then the trees fell on it. luckly, ultra mega chicken was around to clear the way. can you say, "nobody gives a shit about some stupid crash with no fatalities?" i hope so.

Accident on Lee Highway



Two cars crashed into each other head-on on Route 29 near Bull Run Post Office Road. The accident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 in the Bull Run area. A 2001 Chevrolet utility van driven by a 45-year-old Warrenton man was traveling westbound on Route 29. A 61-year-old Loudoun County woman was driving a 1998 Buick four-door eastbound on Route 29. The van driver was allegedly distracted by his cellular phone and drove through the median strip to avoid traffic which had stopped ahead. The van crossed into the eastbound lanes striking the other vehicle. The van driver was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The woman driving the Buick was medevaced to Inova Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol was not a factor and the investigation is continuing.
