Eliminate all sugar from your diet. No custards, pies, creams, jellies, cakes, meringues, puddings, colas, etc. Drink water for detox (not tap). If your biological age (not actual age) is over 35 or so, and you have the multiple chins (double, triple, etc.) you want to get rid of, your only recourse would be surgery. No amount of training or mediation will get rid of the chins. Surgery and facial sculpting are the most realistic options according to my extensive internet research.

what if you had a broken body 1/2 due to others, and getting in shape caused so much injury you always had to stop before getting hospitalized? what if before that you'd been someone people said was "little arnold"?

If you are assuming the word training with workout, then it is almost impossible to get in shape. It is a very important factor that you must have a very active session of workout daily. I have been inspired to get in shape from the exercise videos of Meade Skelton. I joined Planet Fitness to be like him. It helps to have positive role models to look up to.
