anyone who isn't "tied to a democrat" knows the game. the thin jobs section is full of spam (microsoft ads, gov jobs actually filled by family or what before mandated ad posted, etc)
but NOW THEY ARE GETTING PAID to create spam - and that is different. what is worse is that even with the new spam the job section is still THIN
in the 1990's there was an obsessive brat commercial "make millions from home", it was by posting fake ads. not amazingly the "me generation" did it.
How to spot a fake ad was news back then (just a few times got into the news)
1) primary empoyer placed ad not agency
1b) the primary employer is real - you know who and where they are in your town. (unless it says relocation required - most don't these days in the past some did)
2) wage is shown
3) does not ask for unreasonable requirements like "familiar with microsoft products" or "10 years experience".
10yr experience you shouldnt' see unless a large wage is printed for it. a desperate industry who lost someone important and needs some one immediately (and might fire quickly after the first project at that wage). someone with 10yr experience knows the field and the players they don't need paper ads to tell them who might be employing. their employers usually act to prevent them from leaving.
4) does not list a convoluted list of "responsibilities" (like has good organization skills and can resovlve problems). job is fake.
5) a phone number is available to talk to a person who is the same person who placed the ad
6) address of exact work place is listed (if field job, where paychecks get picked up, where dispatch is). ADS WHICH DON'T SHOW any particular workplace just say "hiring in general" are always fake. unless its' homedepot - who hire illegal aliens and require owning microsoft products (in-person not allowed)
7) NO DEGREE REQUIREMENTS UNLESS FEDERALLY MANDATED. req's. are clear and the same that are federally mandated. ie, real employers don't pay engineer wages for field installation work. they do not list requirements that the federal government didn't force them to list
a job that says "master's or high school diploma with experience" IS FAKE
(that was allowed during Clinton who destroyed USA with degree requirements for existing workers - however that expired - any field with a requirement it's now required for "everyone" however long they've worked). yes it wouldn't prevent a company from hiring the "wrong person with right skills". but were talking about fake ads and fake gov: not the real world.
8) TIME. a real employer has a schedule for placing ad, finding someone and picking the best. if the ad doesn't show when the deadline is: it's a fake.
