s-l300.jpg USA, General Electric

G.E. (and other USA makers) made the first TV remotes. they used codes (as did garage door openers)

ASIANS stole and copied the technology REVERSE ENGINEERED: they used any code except what used in USA TV's

UNIVERSAL REMOTES - out during CLINTON, were sued for supporting every brand EXCEPT USA BRANDS (ie, G.E.)

People sued (and GE too). But they were threatened by Clinton mafia not to persue or they would be arrested. (and they weren't idle threats - they were vicious)

UNIVERSAL was an UBUNTU lie

later "TV REMOTES" all became made in china and contained FEATURES TO MAKE THE CROSS-INCOMPATIBLE (loose your remote? buy a whole new system. or pay as much as a new system. how many remotes come with new system - probably just one) (reverse engineering - ie UBUNTU lib hell)

IF YOU HAD AN AMERICAN BRAND TV, USED IT WITH UNIVERSAL REMOTE OR ANY CABLE BOX, IT DID NOT FUCKING WORK FULLY.

once they "were a monopoly", usa competition was dead, Google came into play (china android) and SPYING ON USA HOMES FROM WITHIN. infact, COX CABLE released china made BOXes which had microphones which recorded audio inside USAs home without the customer being aware the units contained a microphone (ie they were NOT used for speach software - they were used for SPYING).

---------------------------------
THE CLINTON REGIME AIDED THE ENEMY, YET AGAIN, AND GOT AWAY WITH IT

THE IMPORTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUNK IN THE SEA LIKE BRITISH TEA

USA makers did NOT seek compatiblity (universality). They were competing.

HOWEVER THE FUCKING ASIANS - they said they had - but all units were NOT compatible, never forward backward compatible. UNIVERSAL was a big lie in every way possible. It was a shit list.

Re: more Clinton era scandals: Digital Cable TV, Ted Turner, was really THE CLINTON-GORE NETWORK. America was only told it was "more advanced than air waves".

early on USA outsourced small electronics (ie not power electronics and high speed) to japan, taiwan

the RUMOR was they were cheap to produce, easy to produce, it'd make no difference

THEY WERE VERY WRONG

it came to be CHINA got control and they'd make it impossible for USA engineers to obtain "accurate information about how parts performed". Also - china reverse engineered the parts to FUNCTION DIFFERENTLY than original specs so that all of USA's SCHEMATICS were no longer valid - needed massive revision or be trash.

furthermore, CHINA gained factories and made the components USA had thought they couldn't be challenged on - makign all electronics "reverse engineered" to buck and fail if used with USA MADE things (like Intel, like old radio schematics, etc)

there are many other vicious turns to this story - but are too off topic and lenghty to list here

THEY WERE VERY WRONG

(small electronics - ie radio transistors, resistors, things like that)

here's one example: chinese started releasing "programmable transistors" without documentation of "how they were programmed", making use in USA almost dangerous

the prices in ASIA were so cheap they'd grab them off street ventors by the handful

the prices in USA became 100x what asians paid for them - making "ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING IN USA" practically a suicidal tendency
