fairfax is so deep in corruption and anti-american. it's to learn whether it's asians in annandale or dc implants in fx co gov building or hispanics

but ... hey. no tires made in USA? they're terrorists they're not "government"

#1THAT'S A FAKE LINK. PEP-BOYS IS ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK OF USA MADE PARTS. only a URL that shows the item in-stock and the price would be welcome

EVEN IF that were true - a "one off wonder" doesn't mean shit. if most of fairfax county has only asian tires - that proves I'm right - there is collusion with the government asians local businesses to prevent "made in usa" from being stocked

#2 NOBODY buys tires and brings them in the trunk to have a shop install. ie, a toyota (which is what most fx co gov workers buy) can't fit 4 tires in a trunk

ONLY a url to someone that installs tires (who btw allways stock tires) would actually be "VALID"

Why would anyone trust their personal safety to tires made in the USA? The best tires in the world are made in Asia.

the topic is NOT if yokohama should be allowed to be sold in Fairfax (though, i see penalties coming for collusion!). anyway - some yokohama are made in china - as are some Goodyear

THE TOPIC IS why are 0 ZERO ZILCH NONE Made in USA tires sold in Fairfax?

drop dead g2

they are available , competitively priced, and are not reverse-engineered to fail early

(MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW fx co is deep in asian corruption and that TIRE TREADS are more responsible for "bumpy wear damage" than alignment is. but the asians know - they stole it from a USA study and reversed it to cause USA to buy tires un-necessarily)

If you are looking to buy tires made in USA, you should know that most foreign global tire manufacturers already have plants in America. In fact, there are only two genuine American brands: Goodyear and Cooper. The largest foreign tire companies with plants in the US include Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, Bridgestone, and Yokohama. However, to make sure you buy USA tires, you should make sure they were made in the USA-based plants.

You can learn where a tire was made by looking at its DOT code. You will see the Tire Identification Number (TIN) after the letters DOT. The first pair of letters and/or numbers is the plant code. Some tires also have “Made in USA” (or another country) molded onto their sidewall. According to the US Government Publishing Office, new three-symbol plant codes will become mandatory from April 13, 2025. Until that time, manufacturers can use both two- and three-symbol codes for their convenience.

Goodyear runs 48 facilities in 21 countries worldwide, including 17 USA-based facilities. Tires with the MC plant code are made at the Goodyear plant in Danville VA. Kelly Springfield Tire Company is a Goodyear subsidiary that makes tires in the U.S. Since Goodyear is international you would need to check the plant codes.

Cooper Tire and Rubber Company’s started in 1914 in Akron, Ohio. It is the 5th largest tire company in North America and the 12th in the world. Their nearest plant at Albany Georgia has the 3D plant code.

The largest tire manufacturers offering tires made in USA are Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, Bridgestone and Yokohama. Each of these companies have a number of U.S. plants. You would need to know the plant codes to determine whether these tires are US or foreign made.
