Some guy named Dan Montgomery is buying up all the land in McLean he can get his hands on. The guy just bought the old mcdonalds location, the shell gas station location, McLean hardware shopping center, the shopping center where three pigs use to be, the shopping center with giant the shopping center with iciban sushi, and the shopping center with that cigar shop. He also bought that building behind giant and now is trying to buy the old firehouse building from the county. Is it me or will there soon be a monopoly in McLean when it comes to rents. This guy is apparently some partner at Clark construction. It's also rumored Montgomery and supervisor foust sleep together sometimes. Can you say bribery!!!

He is exactly what mclean needs. The former owners of all the shopping centers never wanted to invest in to revitalizing mclean. As of right now it looks like a dump. I hope he can change things in the downtown area

The McDonald's was purchased by "Old Dominion Retail Properties" which "shares an office" or is the same as JBG in Chevy Chase.
The block the Giant is on on Chain Bridge Road has not seen a sale since like 2007 as far as I can see.

McLean Family Restaurant is the absolute worst restaurant in town. The food is dry microwave shit and the staff are all ex-cons or FOBs. The management are nice folk though.
McLean needs a damn facelift, or else all the untouchables are going to get off the silver line and think it's the perfect place to live.
