My posting for "the best of" food, etc

I generally live the best life possible. In the DC area, I explore and basically try to buy and/or experience the best within a reasonable budget.

Here's my list so far for the best of:

Best margarita and southwestern food: Taqueria Poblano; but make sure to use a better tequila like Hornitos Reposado. Also, make sure to try the LA Style Tacos (chili braised shredded beef). And the salsa has crack in it I think. It's almost addictive.

Best tequila: Don Julio 1942 (if you can find it). Also try Cincoro. A good substitute and widely-available is Hornitos Reposado.

Best coffee: I have never bought a cup of Peet's coffee but their whole bean coffee Las Hermanas is crazy good, even out of a reusable kcup.

Best grocery store: For me, this is a tie between Wegmans and Hmart. Wegmans has the shopping experience and overall best selection and price for quality, but Hmart has the best seafood and produce.

Best hot pot restaurant: Without a doubt, this goes to Hot Spot in Fairfax or Chantilly. My Chinese friends say it's the closest to what you would find in China. Go in hungry.

Best (Thursday) happy hour: This one is a toss-up between Ruth's Chris and PJ Skidoos. Ruth's Chris has the higher-end feel and a discount menu for happy hour. PJ Skidoos has more the party vibe. It'll depend on your mood really.

Best dating app: None. They all suck ass and are filled with scammers, liars, fakes, and the M:F ratio is about 10:1 and 75% of the women are online to get undeserved attention from simps. Get off your fat ass, get out of the house, practice actual conversation, and meet actual people.

Best chicken sandwich: I don't eat fast food often and I know this topic will bring out the worst in people. The once-a-month chicken sandwich that gets the vote is Popeyes. Nothing else comes close. They try, but they all fail.

Best sushi: Hmm, this one is tough. Tomo is excellent and has great service but Matsu I think edges it out. What I do recommend is that you try spicy tuna gunkan. Seriously, you will order it every time after trying it.

You cared enough to respond. At least the OP had something of value to offer. Most posts here are from weed spammers and a small group of people obsessed with some fat guy who sings. Was it the controversial Popeye's Chicken thing that got you triggered?

On FFXU, "value" has a low bar to jump over. Maybe the value is a few decent recommendations. With all the fag spammers, racists, and political ramblings, I think the value is in a post that actually makes sense and makes a few recommendations for places I haven't been. I just looked up taqueria and apparently they win best margarita in the metro dc area just about every year. Hmm, worth checking out. Also, I have never had hot pot but I looked it up and it sounds like a great idea. Anyway, the post beats all the other incoherent bullshit we read 99% of the time on FFXU.

Now it's really very difficult to find good restaurant quality food. But I will still tell you a cool place if you like great food https://www.gourmetfoodstore.com/ These guys always have everything of excellent quality, they have high standards and they are always fresh. I definitely advise you to try it.
