WGMU Sunday Night EDM Show
Posted by: ben ()

For anyone that's interested, WGMU has a, well, Sunday night EDM show from 7-11 every Sunday night. There's a wide range of local DJs on week-to-week. Tonight I'm not sure what the first two DJs are spinning, but from 9-11 is two hours of tribal house. I'm spinning from 9-10. It's always quality music.

Check it out if you're interested. If anyone else DJs don't hesitate to let them know if you want to perform.

You can stream the show from http://afterhoursdjs.org/ (it's the 192kbps link)

Yeah it is, the equipment is really terrible- we/they have to bring in *everything* to do the show. The only thing provided is a table and some awful studio speakers.

hell you may have a better time doing it from my den

at least my gear is up-to-the-century, last time I was at GMU's radio pit they didn't even have a proper multitrack mixer, I nearly started to vomit and laugh uncontrollably at the same time

Like I said, it's all outside equipment for the show. The guy who runs it brings in an Allen & Heath Xone mixer (I think it's the 62) which is a fantastic little device.
