PSA- Kids, please learn proper grammar. Life is hard to go through like this idiot when you aren’t able to effectively communicate. Oh and don’t do drugs like this fella either. Stay off meth, molly, crack and whatever else you crazy kids are up to nowadays.

I think Stone Bridge will be able to move the ball fairly easy against Cville. Wasn’t impressed last week against Herndon with the guys upfront. Linebackers and dbs are on the small side. On offense they will need to be able to throw the ball.

Lake Braddock vs. James Madison will definitely be a contrast in styles.

Guarantee all the “Madison are done” posts are from inside their program to use as fake bulletin board material.

this is what happens when your team is 0-2 & lost your last 3 games.. funny that entitled Madison fans think teams have to cheat to beat them. that'll take them far as they head toward their doordash driver careers.

1. Annandale @ Robinson (-42)
- Robinson won 49-14, failing to cover. To be fair, they put in their JV kids late and the Atoms scored on them.

2. Centreville @ Stone Bridge (-7)
- Stone Bridge won 22-15, nailed this one! What a game, both teams are legit. Centreville should win the Concorde and I'd be shocked if Stone Bridge isn't playing down in the 757 come December.

3. Falls Church @ Chantilly (-20)
- Chantilly won 42-0, they looked solid. Centreville's biggest challenger in the Concorde?

4. Edison @ West Springfield (-24)
- WS won handily, 45=0.

5. Fairfax (-24) @ Langley
- The Rebels were victorious over the Saxons, 38-7.

6. Hayfield @ South County (-38)
- SoCo won 34-6, but did not cover,

7. Madison (-3) @ Lake Braddock
- Well, those of you who picked against Madison were right and I was wrong. LB won 34-31, the Bruins blocked a Madison FG with 30 seconds left to seal the deal. Another fantastic game. The Bruins have impressed me thus far.

8. McLean @ Marshall (-7)
- Marshall rolled, 35-7. Luckily McLean plays Herndon, otherwise there's a good chance they would go winless this year.

9. South Lakes @ T.C. Williams (-14)
- T.C. won, but did not cover. 15-13 was the final. Another very close game. I'm still getting used to T.C. playing home games on Friday night with lights on that blue turf field.

10. Stuart @ Mount Vernon (-10)
- "A Stuart team that just lost to Edison gets a pissed off Mount Vernon team…"
And that's exactly what they got folks. The Majors won 42-6.

11. Washington-Lee @ Westfield (-7)
- Good bounce back win for Westfield, 21-3.

12. Woodrow Wilson (DC) @ Yorktown (-9)
- Yorktown won easily, 40-6.

13. Woodson (-7) @ Oakton
- I totally blew this one. Oakton won 35-0, WTW is going to be in trouble come district play. Wonder how long until Henderson says screw this.

14. West Potomac (-28) @ Wakefield
- West Po won and covered, 41-12. They covered by 1 point! Kudos, Wolverines.

Shoutout to everyone who posts on here throughout the week. I enjoy getting on here on Sunday mornings and reading what everyone has to say! The season is going by fast, before we know it, it'll be November. Lets get into this weeks slate...

1. Colonial Forge (-6) @ West Potomac
- Forge is coming off a OT loss to a very good talented Tuscarora team. This match up is intriguing but I think the Wolverines are over their heads in this one. I do hope they prevail. (Always root for the NOVA school!)

2. Chantilly (-17) @ Washington-Lee
- Another tune up for the Chargers. They should be just fine. Elijah Hughes, you better wake up and lead your defense!

3. Edison (-8) @ McLean
- Lower tier game, I like the Eagles in this one.

4. Falls Church @ Hayfield (-3)
- The National District might be the worst district in the state. Look for Aziz to beat his old school at home. Both team are horrible, though.

5. Herndon @ South Lakes (-35)
- Rivalry game, although it won’t be close at all. Gotta feel bad for the Herndon kids…

6. Lee @ Annandale (-3)
- Can't believe I picked the Atoms, but Lee is just that bad. Enjoy the win Annandale, it might be the only one of the year!

7. Madison (-14) @ Yorktown
- Madison is 0-2, hard to fathom. They lost 3 games in the last 2 seasons combined. I think they come out pissed and destroy Yorktown. An argument could be made that the spread should be higher, but I’ll stay conservative.

8. Mount Vernon @ Centreville (-28)
- I like the Wildcats and I like them by a wide margin.

9. North Stafford @ Lake Braddock (-10)
- Co-Game of the week. The Bruins have been darn impressive so far. North Stafford will play them tough for sure. LB better not sleep on NS… Should be another great game.

10.Oakton @ Langley (-10)
- Toss up I suppose, Langley is the better team in my mind.

11. Stone Bridge (-3) @ Freedom-Woodbridge
- Game of the week, if not game of the year. SB won by 3 last year, expect another close one. Freedom has been obliterating their first 2 opponents (62-3 and 74-0 wins) but Stone Bridge is not close to the 2 teams they played. I can’t wait to watch this one.

12. Stuart @ Robinson (-40)
- Another running clock for the Rams. Shoutout to the gentlemen that corrected me, a running clock can only happen in the 2nd half. In all my years, I didn’t know that! You learn something new every day. Anyway, Rams win big.

13. Wakefield (-3) @ Woodson
- Can’t believe I picked the Warriors as the favorites, but the Cavs are just bad.

14. Westfield (-21) @ Marshall
- Should be no problems in this one for the Bulldogs, just stay healthy.

Review of how I did with my picks:

> 1. Annandale @ Robinson (-42)
> - Robinson won 49-14, failing to cover. To be
> fair, they put in their JV kids late and the Atoms

No pick due to the >35 point spread. Robo should have covered a 42 point spread, but the JV kids get put in at the end of these blowouts, making it look closer. This is why I don't pick against >35 point spreads.
>
> 2. Centreville @ Stone Bridge (-7)
> - Stone Bridge won 22-15, nailed this one! What a
> game, both teams are legit. Centreville should win

Congratulations on nailing this spread exactly. I correctly took Stone Bridge to win, but I failed to pick them to cover. Split decision.
>
> 3. Falls Church @ Chantilly (-20)
> - Chantilly won 42-0, they looked solid.
> Centreville's biggest challenger in the Concorde?

Correctly picked Chantilly to both win and cover. I said the spread should have been much greater, which was correct. I saw Chantilly scrimmage earlier this year against Fairfax, and they are good.
>
>
> 4. Edison @ West Springfield (-24)
> - WS won handily, 45=0.

Correctly picked West Springfield to both win and cover.
>
> 5. Fairfax (-24) @ Langley

> 38-7.

Split decision here. I correctly picked Fairfax to win, but I didn't think they would cover, so I missed that. I must be influenced by not so many years ago, 3-7 would have been considered a good season for Fairfax. I guess this isn't your older brother's Rebels/Lions.
>
> 6. Hayfield @ South County (-38)
> - SoCo won 34-6, but did not cover,

No pick made due to my >35 point spread policy. The final score is the reason.

I correctly picked Lake Braddock to win outright, so I was right on the result and against the spread. That made the gastrointestinal distress I experienced picking them worth it.
>
> 8. McLean @ Marshall (-7)
> - Marshall rolled, 35-7. Luckily McLean plays

Correctly picked Marshall to win and to cover.

I picked TCW to win, but not to cover. Got both parts of the pick right.

Correctly picked Mt. Vernon to win and to cover.
>
> 11. Washington-Lee @ Westfield (-7)

Correctly picked Westfield to win and to cover. The fact that they were only 18 points better than W-L means that this isn't your older brother's Westfield team.
>
> 12. Woodrow Wilson (DC) @ Yorktown (-9)
> - Yorktown won easily, 40-6.

My coinflip worked. I correctly picked Yorktown to both win and to cover.
>
> 13. Woodson (-7) @ Oakton
> - I totally blew this one. Oakton won 35-0, WTW is

I felt very confident that Woodson would lose this game, so this pick was like shooting fish in a barrel. By picking Oakton to win outright, I got both sides of this right. Woodson might increase their number of wins this season by 50%. That would make them 3-7.
>
> 14. West Potomac (-28) @ Wakefield
> - West Po won and covered, 41-12. They covered by

Kudos on getting this spread almost exactly right. I think this was one of the more difficult games to handicap. I correctly picked West Po to both win and cover.

I'll take West Po to win and cover. Just a hunch though, as I don't know much about Colonial Forge
>
> 2. Chantilly (-17) @ Washington-Lee

Chantilly wins and covers this one, easily. This spread should be much higher.
>
> 3. Edison (-8) @ McLean
> - Lower tier game, I like the Eagles in this one.

This game features a bottom-feeding National Team visiting a bottom-feeding Liberty team. Both of these conferences are the weaker of the two conferences in their respective regions, but I feel Liberty is a bit better than National. On that basis, combined with McLean being at home, means I'll take McLean to win outright.
>
> 4. Falls Church @ Hayfield (-3)
> - The National District might be the worst

Hayfield wins a covers.
>

If this spread would have been one point more, I'd pass on making a pick. 35 is the max. I'll take South Lakes to win and cover.
>
> 6. Lee @ Annandale (-3)
> - Can't believe I picked the Atoms, but Lee is

As bad as Annandale is this year, Lee is a whole league worse. I think Annandale wins, covers, and gets their only win of the season.

I agree with you that Madison is going to be mad. I'd also say that Yorktown may not be as good as people think -- after all, they lost to Langley. Madison wins and covers.
>
> 8. Mount Vernon @ Centreville (-28)

Centreville wins and covers.

I need some Pepto Bismol. I'll take Lake Braddock to win and cover.

If Langley had shown up better against Fairfax (and as I thought they would), I'd agree, but that 38-7 loss to Fairfax is taking me off of any Langley bandwagon I would have been on. I'm taking Oakton to win outright.

This is a greater than 35 point spread. No pick from me.

A blind squirrel occasionally will find an acorn, and a sorry football team will occasionally find a win. Woodson wins and covers.

Your older brother's Westfield team would have taken Marshall to a running clock by the 3rd quarter. But this isn't your older brother's Westfield team. Westfield wins, doesn't cover.

Marshall has a pretty good RB but that’s about all, Westfield will probably win by 40.

I think everyone is making too much of Madison being 0-2. They are a much better team this season than I though they would be. Losing 29 seniors including arguably their 13 best players and they are literally two plays from being 2-0. Realistically they have to be the favorite to win the Concorde again. Centreville is a one-trick pony.

Slight correction on this pick. I misread the spread. Our resident oddsmaker made Wakefield a three point FAVORITE against Woodson. So I should have said that I'm taking Wwodson to win outright. I stand by my blind squirrel metaphor, though

I've recently talked to a few people regarding people in the concorde district and the most surprising was the coaching staff of Oakton High School. Personally I have not met them but I would love to talk with them about the program they run and what they teach to the kids. I have especially heard high praise about their DB coach. People have been saying that he can be a dick at times but that may just be the inner coach wanting to get his kids to perfection. I have high hopes on the Cougars after a strong start through 2 weeks. Let's hope that they don't figure everything out before district play. They play Langely this week I will take Oakton to outright win. Good luck Cougars. I'm high on you guys.

Idk if you’re his wife but you may want to look at their in-conference scores from last season.

Based off of what I had seen from the WTW v Oakton game, there is something fishy going on at oakton. The team from last year returned very few defensive starters and no defensive line starters. But now all of a sudden their defensive line was shoving the WTW boys aside like the were little boys. I’m not saying anything definitely, but they might be on some type of juice.

Shoved them boys around last year too. 35-0 speaks volumes. Maybe Woodson should hop on a cycle. Or two.

But Woodson has a whole new coaching staff, they are working harder than they ever have before, they played a bunch of the 7v7 games and they told everyone "don't sleep on Woodson" What happened?

Personally I believe oakton has strongly improved since last year. I watched the woodson game in person and noticed how well put together the coaching staff looks. They don’t seem to have a lot to work with when it comes to size but definitely have some talent. In their upcoming game against langley I could see them struggling with screen passes as it hurt them during their last matchup, however I see oakton winning over langley

No, I disagree Oakton has a great offense and stacked defense, and the best coaching staff in the concorde district the cougars will thrive under the excellent coaching of Coach Morgan, I believe the cougars are favorites to win the state championship with the excellent coaching staff around them

It's just sad. Probably the game of the year is the Stone Bridge vs Freedom game & FFU is obsessed with Woodson & Oakton? The best team in Fairfax might be Lake Braddock and they couldn't tackle Patrick Starfish on their best day!!??

Am I missing something here? There has to be some team that's better... there are polls that put South County at the top of this area's teams but no one here seems to on that band wagon?

Yorktown is going to shock the region this friday. Madison dline is tailor made for them with the athleticism of Yorktown's oline compared to Madison's drastic decrease in size from last year. Madison could think they're getting a reprieve and they'll be in for a rude awakening.

It may be a close game but Madison is not some random DC school. Also have to remember Uorktown lost to Langley

Yorktown did lose to langley but that was mainly due to 250 yards in penalties, which can't be counted on every game. If Yorktown cleans up the penalties, I think they pull it off.

Kool yur horses. Your team is 0-3 in their last 3 games. But being 1-3 STILL means your team sucks. Beat a decent opponent & get above .500 before you're allowed back on FFU.

Funny how this “privileged, silver spoon, born on 3rd base” gonna make of anyone else. Vienna has the highest per capita ratio of coffee houses and specialty bakeries than anywhere in NOVA. Chill Timothy and go drive mommy’s Volvo home before you’re late for dinner.

I agree.

Here's how the oakton football season goes every year

1) Beat 4 bad teams and then get delusional about saying how there the greatest football team in the concorde

2) absolutely getting slaughtered by Madison

3) Ending the season with a lot of dissapointment

4) and then hype up for next year "let's go boys, we got it next year, they don't want us next year lets go"

Oakton was never a valid football team and it never will be a valid football team and they will have another sorry ass season.

Freedom lost to Gar-Field last year because they couldn't run or stop the run in that game & just enough pressure on Freedom's QB shut him down. Same thing happened vs Battlefield.

I expect game to be very similar the Stone Bridge vs Maury game with the Bulldogs making enough defensive plays to keep them in the game. The result will be a toss up. But in the end my gut tells me that Freedom makes too many mistakes to win it.
