Drowning in Fair Lakes

I've noticed some trends of development in the Fair Lakes area of Fairfax and it has me worried about more traffic, more density and all that stuff without proper planning. I fear that one of the few areas of Fairfax to drive in and around is about to be choked by development and traffc. Here's the blog:

Drowning in Fair Lakes

You use the word "bucolic" to describe what Fair Lakes was like six years ago?? You notice "trends"? Development and traffic? Where were you 15 years ago. Even back then your point was a tired old story. Bucolic Fair Lakes, lmao.

Regulars: don't bother reading this blog.

Oh I thought you meant that soemone drowned there - like in a pond or something. All I could think of was that pond near Fair Oaks mall.
I am runing in a 5K race at the Government Building tomorrow morning. I hope it doesn't get all built up before then. Wish me luck!

Meeper: I wasn't living here 15 years ago. I'm only familiar with the last six years. Can't I be concerned with where I live? There were a hell of lot more trees and green space in 1999 than now...and obviously there were more trees and less concrete in 1992.

Sorry I don't meet your standards for the number of years I've lived here. Guess I can't share my thoughts on a topic because you have deemed it unworthy for others to read.

Fairlaker,
this "problem" sounds like something out of "The Real World" reality[sic] tv show. in short, just because their are not real problems in your life, doesnt mean you should make things up. oh... and seriously, if "drowning in fair lakes" isnt melodramatic enough for you, try "a serial killer is killing EVERYONE in fair lakes"

meeper,
thanks for saving me the time. i opened the blog quickly read a couple lines, thought, "wtf?", went back and saw your post and closed the tab.

Wow, it's great trying to have a conversation with a bunch of conceited assholes. That's why this board is full of high school drop outs. You don't know how to have a conversation and think about issues. I thought I'd try and educate you cop-hating, gay-loving dicks.
