UYD is hilarious but I don't know if Chad/Drab/Oscar can run that type of show. He simply could not do it.

I have to weigh in on this one. I don't know what Dukes did to chadisfat, but whatever it was, it was something personal. While others talk about the show, chadisfat constantly talks about Dukes the person and his former relationship. then, out of the blue he uses Dukes real name and how "we" need to turn our attention on attacking him. This isn't about a show, but someone who was hurt and wants to exact personal revenge. no, chadisfat is not Chad, but is most certainly is someone who is vindictive and sensitive to any and all criticism. I expect chadisfat will provide some droll response about some uniformed part of my life, which is fine. He is unimaginative and that is the best one can expect from him.

They then went on to say they wont be on Stitcher (who does the whole SModcast/Kevin Smith network of shows) because of the content that they couldn’t control and sell. But based on what we know about Chad is that really likely or did he not like some kind of parameter in the deal and that killed it? So they do the podcast im guessing holding out hope that when Tom Leykis comes back he will take them under his wings and be their savior but who knows.

So until that happens what we have gotten now is no longer the Big O and Dukes show with Drab it is now the Big O and Dukes variety hour starring whichever of Chad’s kiss ups are the current flavor of the week. What this podcast has become is not what this show was. Again it’s the fact that those two aren’t really that interesting and without content to drive the show this is what we are left with.

So now Chad’s passion is wrestling again and his wrestling show is filled with energy and spirit and he genuinely seems fired up to do the show. It must be because he figures this is his avenue to be in wrestling doing stuff behind the scenes. But does he really not realize that he will never get that chance because of his personality. He has admitted he cant take criticisim can you imagine the hissy fit he would throw when they put down one of his ideas? He would actually have to behave like an adult in a real industry and is very ill equipped to handle that side of the business where its not just his hanger ons telling him how great he is.

Well if Dukes still hopes to get BOAD on anything bigger, he need to start actually providing good content. RTH episodes won't get them on the Leykis podcast network and hour long Oakton Wine Shop commercials won't get them on SiriusXM.

I used to wonder why they couldn't get on Howard 101 or something like that when the show was closer to what it used to be. These days, I'm not surprised if they can't crack the iTunes Top 100 for comedy. They'd be out of their league on KCJJ with some of the junk they've been pumping out.

Like so many other incarnations of Chad, this one can be called, "BOAD Podcast Chad". The BOAD podcast will soon fall out of favor with him, as did the RROD and JAWS (now rebranded for the radio). Oscar has TMOS, Tech411 and his television pilot to worry about, along with selling ManGrates and school machines.

Chad has a two year extension for the afternoon show. There is no real reason to give it his all on the podcast anymore.

Between the afternoon show and now the wrestling something had to give and that was the podcast which everyone admits has gone way downhill.

I remebember a couple months back when they posted a podcast from an appearance, chad asked the guest they were talking to something along the lines of "when did you finally realize that you were never going to make it?". I think he might have been talking to some guy about his band before Harp and Eagle went on but I really wasnt paying that much attention to it.

Dukes went on to say that he realized that he was never going to make it or something along those lines. I think it's safe to say that Dukes lost his enthusiasm for the podcast some time ago and the results are obvious to anybody that has been listening to these guys for any period of time.

I have not checked the their home page this week but I have read here that this week's free show was Rally the Horde and Reloaded was just an hour of themselves broadcasting at an appearance. It just doesn't even seem like they are trying anymore.

Per iTunes Bandit's suggestion I went ahead and searched out Jay Mohr – Mohrstories. I've never heard of these guys until now but I went ahead and downloaded a random podcast and I gotta say that my initial reaction is quite positive. I still feel that I need to listen to several of them to really make up my mind though. But at least I can just dive into a random episode and not have to learn about five new Dick Smokehands before getting it.

It just seems like a couple of normal dudes talking about shit that I can relate to. Kind of like what attracted me to BOAD in the first place.

And totally in agreement with iTunes Bandit's post. Chad's checking out. Sad to say it, but I think BOAD might go the way of the Dodo before TMOS does. And THAT is truly sad. That's what was great about the show and, unfortunately, what has been lost. You don't need a ton of yes men chiming in to simply affirm your retarded and ill informed opinion of a topic, you just need to talk about shit in life, on the news, etc.

He said a whole back that his next career choice was going to be it, in his mind. He was talking about either reupping at WJFK or going with BOaD. He made up his mind (or it was made up for him by no one wanting the podcast) and now it's pretty much a secondary thing. I think he still likes it but would be apathetic if it went away.

He's already said that on the podcast. He claimed he's over it and he doesn't watch it any longer. Wrestling is the only thing that really has seemed to stick with him.

I know Lavar receives a ton of (for the most part justified) ridicule on FFXU but the show can be quite funny in small doses. Try looking at it as a comedy show instead of a sports show and you might have a new appreciation for it.

I actually agree with most of that. From time to time it can be amusing how dumb he is, but my head starts to hurt real quick especially if he starts on one of his five minute rants where he says the same thing 10 different ways then by the end of it is making a dumb argument against everything he just said.

Im guessing the CBS guys have never actually bothered to listen to the show or think that it will get huge cus a former Redskin who had 3 good seasons is on it. I really cant figure it out. Its definitely in the running for worse show on that station. Literally anyone could take Chads spot. Anyone could do better than Lavar too but he at least has a big name

The show is nearly unlistenable. I tried to listen again today. Someone needs to make Lavar stop going "Hmmm" into the mic every other minute. It sounds awful, and sometimes it sounds downright disrespectful to the guest. Unfortunately for Lavar, that is about all he contributes to any given segment: "Hmmm".

Dukes sounds like he is mailing it in, and I am sure he is.

The only time that time slot is bearable is when Danny fills in for Lavar. Dukes seems re-energized next to Danny and shows some of what I used to like about him. Danny alone is more entertaining that most of the shows on WJFK, and with Dukes he makes a pretty good teammate.

That is pathetic, and some I can agree with Dukes on. I'm a Giants fan, but I grew up in NY. I can also see it if your old man grew up in TX and was a Cowboys fan, but a lot of these idiots just liked the fact they were good in the 90s.

His twitter account is hilarious though. He rails against video games that he sucks at (he's actually just a terrible player in general) and tries to instigate fights with far more popular people (athlete, or ESPN, generally) in the sad attempts to get attention.

I still remember his RROD show where he claimed the movie Thor was going to totally bomb and so was the third Assassin's Creed game. Thor made almost 200 million dollars and the game was one of the best sellers of the year.

And the time where someone said he wrote like a moron and his great response was 'Actually, I am an excellent writer'.

I've actually played games with him on occasion (Call of Duty and Gears of War) and that's the reason he tends to play more co-op style matches as opposed to multiplayer deathmatches. He does suck at those games and berates those that play with him to make himself feel superior. Typical little/fat man complex.

He talked up Batman:Arkham City for the longest time and now all of a sudden it's a terrible game. I mean, it's only the highest selling game right now on all formats, well at least until next week when MW2 comes out.

Perfect example... When Call of Duty 4 came out (when they were still doing evenings), Chad loved the multiplayer,it was the best game ever, even encouraging people to "hit him up on Xbox live..."

Within a week, he was pissed that he was getting slaughtered by 12 year olds, six year olds were shouting the N-word down the microphone...

Two weeks later, he was saying how he couldn't play the game anymore and how superior the Gears of War multiplayer was.

Ahhh... remember the good old days when Chad would threaten to "paint the walls with cherry pie?"

Today it is more of him moving out to the middle of nowhere. Are there people who really care if he moves?

As for the Arham City crap, all it was for two weeks was how good it will be and how Batman is the best, yet he is also trashing the new movie before it is even finished filming.....ugh.

Dukes' dislike of Arkham City is very transparent. He was all-in when it wasn't released. Now that it's out and getting rave reviews, he wants to stand out by naysaying and talking shit about it.

The same is true with his timing. Notice that he doesn't watch universally critically acclaimed show Breaking Bad at the same time as every one else (i.e. when it airs). He HATES to be just another dude commenting on the show's awesomeness. Better to DVR and wait a few days and THEN comment on it. More attention his way. Same with his Inception love. He won't like it when everybody else likes it in the moment, he'll wait until it's passed a bit and them claim that it's actually a great movie! (Doing some revisionist history to claim that people didn't like it).

So much of his persona is carefully constructed to get reactions and both enrage his haters and spur his supporters.
