Reloaded was very good this week. They talked about the person who used to go to appearances in a chicken suit, and then had a long story by DickSmokeHand about when he used to sell drugs. Its actually a pretty wild story.

has anyone else noticed Oscar's stories change between both TMOS and BOAD? Not just the Kara story, but just about every one of them. I like and listen to both, but he needs to keep his stories straight.

I did notice awhile back how he and the O'Mears guys were on their knees blowing Obama over the Osama killing. They were all about how great Obama was, etc, but when Oscar goes to talk to Chad about it, Chad totally gets him to rethink his opinion. Oscar went from "all in" to questioning what he was saying. Stand by your position if you believe in it....

In case you hadn't noticed it, Oscar will ALWAYS give you the answer he thinks you want to hear because he doesn't wants everyone to like him.

Oscar needs to grow a backbone. When he is with Mike, he will go along with the party line, probably more out of fear than anything else. When with Chad, he tries to sell the same crap, but Chad isn't buying it, so, the position changes again. The only person who changes positions more is Kara.....bada bing!

this week's show was basically just selling a new sponsor. all they did was sample craft brews from some dude that owns a beer and wine store in oakton. the guy had no personality, but chad and oscar did their best to make it entertaining.

This show sounds like one they did back on regular radio with the beer critic......I think MOM did this too....not very riveting to listen to people drink a couple of beers as the basis for the show.

I'd the most recent episode just more Sven nonsense? Dukes' tweets had me thinking twice about even downloading it. I miss the old days when Sven never showed up or took the opportunities they gave him. As a regular "contributor" he is awful. Even as a DC listener I'd be happy if they went back to PHX. At least we'd get something closer to the old show, and I doubt hangers on like Sven, Rob Stark, and Zohan would be able to follow.

Has anybody noticed(or even bothered to listen this week) that Othello is the producer for the Lavar and Dukes show. Lavar is out this week and chad seems to actually have some life back in his voice.
But the point I was going to make is that fat-Chad is always taking shots at Othello. Chad clearly still has not gotten over his stupid feud he got into with Othello and Blue shorts 6 months ago. Fat-Chad never missed a chance to take a pot shot at othello.
And I agree with hatebreed_frickin_rules, the 7/3 podcast was a fucking infomercial which isn't what I tune in to listen to.

Anyone else ever listen to the Chad Dukes Rodcast? He used to do it about once a week and post it on his website, "The Fukerton" before he and Oscar rebooted O&D.
It actually had some substance and didn't have 20 minute long segments where they would just talk about sponsor BS that isn't entertaining. Plus there was very real tension between a lot of the members of the cast that was actually hilarious to listen to because you could tell that people were genuinely pissed off at each other.
And speaking of all the "hanger ons" that saturate the current O&D cast (sven, zohan etc.), one of them, Ryan "Ryan the Racist" Osbourne actually started up a podcast called "The Radio Is Dead" which, in my opinion, is far superior to O&D (of course it has only a speck of the fanbase that O&D undeservingly has at the moment). I loved the Rodcast, wish Dukes would bring that back but I doubt he will because of the time spent on the O & D podcasts. I am curious to see what happens this month, I am pretty sure Dukes' contract with CBS is up, wonder what he will do.

I never really listened to the Fukerton stuff because it was all Chad and his crew of flunkies. I like Chad, but I like him with Oscar, or even Funny Danny. Someone to even him out. I could have cared less what Othello thought of a video game. I always got the impression he was a POS loser and it looks like I was right. The guy stabs Dukes in the back and then apparently replaces Drab on the "Boring Idiot Show with Chad Dukes". With no Lavar last week, I actually enjoyed listening to a bit of it. Dukes and Rohland or Danny is 1000xs better than Lavar. There were actually two entertaining people on the air instead of one struggling host and the boulder of no talent he is trying to drag
through 5 hours of radio.
I am curious what they will be doing in August since you would think Dukes tenure at JFK is over. Also, the podcast market really seems to be getting flooded. Every standup on the planet seems to be starting one and they all work together to promote each other.
O&D need to get on SIR or something.

I did find it funny on the most recent reloaded when they were talking about the beach trip briefly and Chad starts out with saying people contributed more money this time and when Oscar starts to say how great that was Chad has to say OH BUT I MEAN IT WASNT EVEN HALF OF THE PRICE OF THE RENTAL. Then he proceeds to say BUT ITS REALLY NOT ABOUT THE MONEY.
If it isn't about the money, Chad, stop bringing the money into it.

There is definately a buying loyalty/friendship with him and all of the Jerks. it always come back to how he did/bought/got something for them and then the person turned their back on him.....
The beach rental is always an issue with him. He doesn't mind paying more, and obvisouly doesn't mind complaining about it or the fact people won't pick up a tab when they are at the beach. Try this, take you, your girl and your dog and invite nobody else.

The problem is that people do show appreciation. If it isn't about money and you don't care what they pay (which he is constantly blabbing) then don't call people out based upon how much you spent on a house or dinner tabs, etc. Be happy you spent some time with them and don't always hold the money over their heads as if it makes you a 'better' person.

WJFK Re-Signs Junks, Wise, Arrington, Not Rohland - 7/15 - A DCRTV source tells us that CBS Radio has re-signed the Sports Junkies even though their contracts weren't up for renewal until September. Ditto with the other major personalities on WJFK, 106.7 The Fan, we're told. Including Mike Wise, Lavar Arrington, and Chad Dukes. CBS wanted everyone's contracts coinciding from this point on, we hear. But the renewals don't include Bill Rohland, whose last JFK day is today. Danny Rhouier will take over the "Overtime" evening slot, we're told. CBS will relocate WJFK from its longtime Fairfax digs to Lanham, where the company's other stations are studioed, by September.....

I don't listen to Lavar and Dukes on the radio, for understandable reasons, but I catch small segments of the show when I"m in the car, and it doesn't sound like Chad and Lavar are doing the show together. Maybe I have just caught them when each other is on vacation. Yesterday was just Chad and Othello, or Chad and Danny or Lavar and Bill.

I'm sorry, but this show has devolved into such a mess of inside discussions of people I don't care about, and gay relationship talk, that I just can't listen anymore. The Back to the Bunker Show was a joke. The Big O and Dukes lemmings will go on and on about how great it was, but the sad fact is that what was once a cutting edge show that talked about current events and cultural/lifestyle issues that our age group cared about, has turned into the Chad Dukes Terrible Life Show with Sven Lloyd. I'm done with it.

Obviously I haven't heard the live show yet since I wasn't there, but I do have to agree with Neil's sentiments. Last week's show was decent, with some of the HFS stories and the guy from the Pie Tasters was a nice change of pace from the Dukes, Sven, and Creasy show it had been the past few weeks before it.
Speaking of Dukes barnacles, whatever happened to his buddy from Belfast. They were like inseparable. My guess is the dude has a life other than Dukes and Dukes didn't like that. Creasy on the other hand apparently has no problem driving from DC to Centerville (I think Dukes lives there) to sit and watch a podcast during the week.

Dukes has always refrained from letting images/ pics/ names, etc. of Princess Dukes be known, let's respect that. No clue if that is her, but she is never on air, so who cares? Let her just be an anon woman who dates a guy on the radio. What I AM curious about is whether he is done with 106.7, and what his future career plans are.

Well, I don't know if that info is correct or not, but I do like BOAD and I have no desire to know the true identity of said Princess. She is a part of Chad's life that he currently has no desire to reveal. Seems reasonable to me.

Agree, I say let Dukes' lady stay behind the scenes. At least she is not an attention whore like someone else's ex-gf. That is probably why she works for Dukes. That and the fact she let's him hang with his buddies all the time.

Whatever Dukes does next, I hope for his sake he doesn't sit on a couch podcasting with the expectation a million dollar deal will just fall in his lap. BOAD still have a future in broadcasting in the right market for the right price, unlike some other failcasters

dukes is turning into Mike O'Meara. Luckily, dukes is still a better broadcaster, but if BOaD continues this podcast route and they dont find a radio gig somewhere soon, dukes and the not-so-poofy-haired one will be the next LFF and Rob(b).

At least the cost of living would have been on par with his income. Instead, he has spent a few years getting himself deeper in debt with the failcast. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Maybe the BOaD podcast generates some decent income (or shows the real potential to)? I mean you have to figure that 5% of their listening audience gets the reloaded episode (knowing their fan base I think it's probably closer to 20% but whatever). If 30k normally DL the free episode then that means 1.5k pay 2.99 a week. That comes out to well over 200k a year. I understand that it would be split three ways and there is overhead etc., but that is them doing this as a side job.
On top of that they will get their listeners to consistently show up and sell out venues they are in once a month and probably make decent cash there.

I've considered those numbers myself. There is a decent opportunity to make money off that model with a small "take" rate from the free audience. Toss in some additional income from advertisers (not much now I imagine) and its doable without being Kevin Smith or Adam Corolla. Of course those two also do other things still to supplement income.
