Septic tanks?

Is anyone familiar with septic tanks? I just went to take a piss and notice a very small (almost looked like a brown hair but a little thicker) thing swimming in the water. I'm guessing it's some kind of tapeworm or something, as it was moving around and the water was stationary and clean. Is this something to be worried about or harmless? Thanks.

If you have tape worms coming out of your septic tank you have a whole lot of problems with sanitary sewer. There is a good chance that your whole system has a major amount of bacteria in it. EI all the sanitary pipes in your house.

However this is very unlikely that a tape worm just came from nowhere, there had t be a source and the source is who ever used your toilet.
