if you're gonna pay for valet, you may as well just call a cab and save yourself the trouble.

There is no law requiring valet attendants to screen drivers before allowing them to drive, but if something bad happened, an attorney could try to sue the valet and/or the company that employs him/her. Many attempts have been made to sue bars that over-intoxicate their customers with little to no success, so I'm not sure if they could even sue the valets with success.

Sounds like someone is trying to pass blame on for getting busted after drinking too much at a restaurant.

"but your honor, it's not my fault they handed my drunk ass the keys!"

You live in a country where lawyers sue McDonalds for making people fat, sue casinos for letting people gamble and you have to ask if they will sue a valet?

Dont forget that we sue Mcdonalds for not having the words caution hot on their coffe cups so that when we are driving 60 mph in the school zone and we run down a kid and there is a bump and the coffee spills all over our legs, balls, etc. we win the suit.
