Rays Steakhouse in Arlington

Was over there Tuesday night. Had to wait 2 hrs for 6 people WTF? Had the hanger steak and didn't see what the fuss was all about-- sides and bread wasn't that great. Ended up being about $25-30 a person (including one bottle of wine) which I thought was decent for a steak dinner.

Perhaps the filet or NY strip would have been more memorable. Not sure I'd go back, mostly because of the wait and seriously, an aged cut or fillet from Wegmans is better.

I dunno... I was there with my 3 brothers and had a steak on the level of ruth chris or mortons without the ridiculous pricetag. My brother goes there all the time and has never had a bad experience. Sorry you had a bad time but i highly recommend it.

Spent some time in NYC so had the Luger's, Sparks, Palm, etc. so am picky about my steaks. Can't stand Ruth Chris butterred preparation. Morton's is good though. Like I said, I didn't try the fillet or other cuts but everyone seemed to rave about the Hanger there. Just didn't see what the big deal was.

I was in Indianapolis and had heard about St. Elmos being good and it being hard to get it. So I got a reservation but I wasn't that impressed with the steak, however their shrimp cocktail sauce was incredible. I'm a prime rib fan myself and in this area best I have had is PK Skidoos and Texas Road House.
