One needs to only search up "rape" in the ticket/arrest search section of this site to see the facts themselves. Most of the rape and sexual assaults in this county are committed by illegal immigrants and the government covers it all up.

While most of them are probably decent people looking for work there are also an element of the illegal immigration population that are just thugs and criminals. Talk to any female that lives in Northern Virginia, she can probably relate a story about being harassed by illegals or you yourself may know someone this has happened to, I know a few myself.

Why would the government cover up the fact that many rapes are committed by illegal immigrants? They have no reason to cover that up? Also, the last time I checked the ticket/arrest search system here does not have an immigration status feature so how can you say they were illegals?

Immigration status check in Va. arrests

A new system that lets local law enforcement check fingerprints of people who are arrested against immigration records maintained by the Department of Homeland Security is now in use in every county in Virginia, according to a joint release by the Attorney General's office and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Previously, authorities could check fingerprints against the FBI's criminal history database. But the new "Secure Communities" program lets them check DHS records and automatically alerts ICE to those with immigration violations. According to a release, ICE will prioritize enforcement for those who are convicted of major drug offenses, murder, rape and kidnapping.

Counting Virginia's participation, the program is now available in 336 jurisdictions in 22 states and will be available nationally by 2013.

"This information sharing enables criminal aliens to be identified at the time they are booked in a jail anywhere in Virginia, and those convicted of serious crimes can be prioritized for deportation after serving their sentences," Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) said in a statement.

Firstly I'd very much like to see where you referenced that number. Secondly I would love to think you could scroll through this forum without seeing a racial slur every two lines, but unfortunately you can't. Perhaps you may better yourself and this community by refraining from such bigotry. Also the fact that you're referring to Mexico as a third world country is ignorant if not idiotic.

For everyone complaining about jobs, yes illegal immigration has to do with a certain percentage of it, but it mostly stems from the economic climate currently. Believe it or not the majority of people who work here aren't illegal immigrants. If that were the case then yes your pleas for work against the immigrants would be entirely justified. But really the number of jobs illegal immigrants occupy is trivial in comparison to other factors.

I know that once I post this I'll immediately get verbally assaulted, but for the few people who actually can compose a rational thought without having their brains bursting into flames, please try to calm the tide of the American flag waving zealots who claim that this land is our land and our land alone. Okay, I'll stop imitating an immature blue-collar worker now, and respond with something that may resemble a little intelligence:

Paying your withholding automatically doesn't necessarily equate to paying taxes. Withholdings from a paycheck still has to somehow actually be submitted to the treasury. Many employers just pocket the withholdings of non-documented workers. There are even cases where businesses have pocketed the withholdings of actual taxpaying citizens, as well.

But honestly, the people who bitch about "not paying taxes" or "they take our government entitlements from us" or any of the variations on the "I've got mine and you can just go suck it" theme have not even the first clue about what any of that really even means. It's just a manifestation of their own frustrations with their own lot in life, and an easy way to cop out from accepting responsibility for their own actions that brought them to where they are in life.

Year-to-year, excepting any politically motivated changes to the tax code, I pay pretty much the same each year in taxes. I'm still not sure which mexican is stealing my money, and since I do not suck the tit of government entitlements, I really don't give a shit who or what is getting any of it. Taxes are a cost of doing business or living. Mexicans aren't causing it, so as much as I hate mexicans and taxes, I can't tie the two things together.

Yeah, because when a dozen white guys are hanging around a 7-11, we all know it's just a meeting of the greatest minds in western civilization. The darker the skin color, the more nefarious they are.

Not too many employed people "loiter". Loitering laws exist to make it easy for localities to remove the destitute and other "undesirables" from the sight of the "upstanding citizens" who prefer to live in the fantasy that the only way you become poor is by choice or by not being very successful at being born to rich white parents.

As for the zoning laws. They exist. They are enforced.

I know it's a lot easier to look outward instead of inward, and people who are poorly educated tend to always seek an external cause to their own misery, because obviously they don't have the tools to reason things out and figure out what they did wrong to land in their situation, and also because it's a lot more comforting when we all have a common enemy we can scapegoat.

Besides, everyone knows that if you are white and were born in AMERICA, you are one of God's chosen people, and you are infallible, the smartest person in the world, the strongest, the handsomest, and the nicest. So even when you hate those mud people, it's because as an AMERICAN, everything that has happened before in this country and everything that will happen is a manifestation of your special status as a superior human being. WE defeated the Germans. WE walked on the moon. WE did this. We did it all. Genetically, I must certainly still have some residual greatness in me from all those things, because I was born here! Even though I hate La Raza ("The Race") because they are just the hispanic version of the KKK, I love one of their best arguments against the blue-collar droolers when they yell shit at hispanics like "Go back to where you came from" or whatever.

The response is, "I came from RIGHT HERE. Where did YOU come from?" or, "I didn't come to America, America came to ME"

You're right about everything except the part about it being the government.

Do not confuse our federal government with the two-party system and the corporate interests that have taken control of it. Our constitution still exists, no matter how few actually understand or comprehend it. This is a government by consent. We just need to stop buying into all the propoganda from either side and their media branches that manipulate us into consenting to all of this bullshit.

If people would stop fighting against each other and instead recognize that we're all in the same fucking boat, and that all of our political heroes are really in the attacking boat with the corporate interests, union interests, established institutional interests, and not in our boat, then maybe we'd stop electing assholes who, even if they were normal, rational people before election, become the same sellout money hoarders who will look the other way when a major campaign contributor steals billions, or accidentally punctures a hole in the sea floor spilling millions of barrels of oil into the ocean, but will slam the hammer down hard if any one of us forgets to mention a source of income on our tax return or, heaven help us, have one or two drinks during dinner and then have the audacity to try to drive home.

Don't blame the government, so much. It can be a good thing, if you understand the constitution and the limits it is supposed to place on government. Blame the people who misinform us about issues, convince us that if we are from one party or the other that we are supposed to think a certain way and the others think the other way. Blame the corporations that own the media outlets that misinform adherents to both parties, because they have chosen the easy route to short-term profits over the interests of the public and society.

We can have a government that we can all agree with. First, we have to agree to treat BOTH parties with complete and total contempt. Then we need to stop voting incumbents into office. We can dismantle both parties very easily by making the (D) and (R) labels next to candidates on ballots the modern day scarlet letter. Fuck anyone who is affiliated with a party.

Then we have to stop watching Fox, MSNBC, reading all the partisan blogs and news sites, and basically learn to form our own opinions through reason and logic, rather than blindly jumping into whatever hot-button issues either party is trying to wedge between us.

Oh fuck it. It makes sense, except that we allowed ourselves to be educated by the same hijacked government that is now working against the common interest, and not too many of us have the critical thinking skills required to do that.

I guess it won't be long until we start setting up camps for "illegals".

Wait, we have those already??? Sure, but only because they came here illegaly, and they put a strain on our already overburdened public finances.

Don't let your government get out of your hands. Government in the hands of special interests and institutional powers is not a government of the people, it's a tool to be used for amassing wealth and power for those that have unchecked greed and the power to manipulate what people see and hear.

Yeah, you are right. Until the government, or the party I agree with publishes a scientific study on this, I'm just going to go along with whatever Rush and Glenn have to say. I trust them, they are reputable.

Do you really, honestly, still have faith in anything establishment? Look at the unions, the trade groups, the think tanks, the banks, the corporations, the politicians, the federal agencies, every single one of them has proven to be either a failure or abjectly corrupt and serving only their own interests or their base.

Fuck, the RIAA and MPAA pursue heavy civil fines and even criminal sentences against their very own customers because they "stole" from them by downloading bits of data.

Banks seek government handouts to forestall bankruptcy after they couldn't meet their debt obligations, yet after they receive said handouts, they proceed to foreclose mortgages and hand out hefty bonuses.

The former employees of those banks in the Bush and Obama administrations handed them the money.

big unions like the AFL-CIO, and even organizations like AARP and the NRA have become so large and established themselves as lobbying groups for their own survival, not their members.

Hell, even philanthropic organizations have proven themselves incapable of resisting the urge to become a power base within themselves.

The Red Cross?

Remember how we all donated money to go to the victims of 9/11? Obviously not, or nobody would have donated to the red cross after the earthquake in Haiti -- the Red Cross will immediately allocate millions in PR funding to take advantage of a disaster or tragedy, saying "give to haiti" or "give to the 9/11 survivors", but later, when people learn that 95% of the money they raise for each "tragedy" goes right into the Red Cross's general operating funds, like to pay salaries and fund more PR campaigns to raise more money, and usually they only spend a mere fraction of the money on the actual disaster they use to drum up donations, people are shocked, they write letters to their congressmen and editorialize about how they were duped, but then they forget before the next disaster strikes and it gets repeated again. Not that they don't do good, but they are willing to deceive the public in order to raise money. I suppose if I was the CEO of the Red Cross and I wanted to make a 6 or 7 figure income, I'd have to come up with a way to increase the value of the organization to it's board members and shareholders, and obviously my mission or the people would be a secondary concern. We all want to play with the big boys, so whether you become CEO of a credit union, or some non-profit, it's in YOUR best interest to make your organization huge, powerful and non-responsive to the needs of the public. Plus, it's always good to insulate yourself from little people.

The tea party people are reacting to this, but unfortunately they are stuck in this "us versus them" mindset where the "us" are the people in MY party and the "them" are the people in that other, weaker and loserish party that only losers would be members of. That's because another institution, the media, is still keeping them blind and uninformed, and unaware that they are manipulated by the very people who created the situation that pissed them off. Could it be a form of stockholm syndrome? Who knows.

If you still have faith in an institution, you should be institutionalized. Keep that faith and watch us go down the path of all the other empires that attempted to bend reality to survive.

Isn't it odd that two of the biggest media outlets for "conservative patriotic americans" are owned by a Korean and an Australian? One is the self-professed chosen one who will unite all world religions, and the other is an avowed corporatist and globalist, yet these people will attack and insult and become violent towards anyone who tries to raise that fact as an issue. Shouldn't that be yet another huge red flag warning that something is not right?

I'm always on the fence with this whole illegal debate. Those for deporting them have a valid point - they are here illegally and should go. But then again, I think well what if I were born in different circumstances and living in Guatamala.

If I worked my bottom off all day making $5 a day there vs $50 in the US...I know where I would go legal or not. It's not a very difficult concept to grasp hence the millions of illegals coming across our borders. Would you do it?

Going the legal route (i.e. via lotteries can take decades) if you have a family to feed/support you don't have the luxury of waiting that long. So tis tough to be against the illegals when I know I would do what they do if I were one of them.

Deporting doesn't work. They are right back in the U.S. within a couple of weeks. I don't understand how people don't get that concept. They think that if you load up buses with 12 million illegals that they will all stay in Mexico. They won't.
