Looking for local race tracks - Google not much help

Want to take my kid to a race, but Richmond is much too expensive, as he is too young to sit through the whole thing ($65 per ticket). I used to go to New River Valley Speedway when I was younger, anything comparable to that around here? I’d be happy to take him to qualifying instead of a full race.

I know I will be called a homo or a redneck by posting here, but one or two good answers would be great!

It's a dirt track, but I'm sure your son wont care. Winchester Speedway https://www.facebook.com/wincvaspeedway/ I haven't been there in years but it was fun and cheap when I used to go.

Have you tried the beltway?

No problem. If you go let me know how it was. I might have to drag my lazy ass back out there. It was pretty crazy back in the day. If the cars were on the backside of the track they would let you walk across the track to the infield during the race! Hahahahahaha!

Old Dominion Speedway 40 miles south of Occoquan on I-95 halfway to Richmond Old Dominion Speedway It was in Manassas for years new track and stands built the last few years right along I-95 you can see the stands from the interstate , its a work in progress but its a race car track . Look around their site for info

Bring Bezos or Dan Snyder's wallets cash wad if you need food and drinks (hot Dog Fries Pizza) , that's the way they are all now $$$$ and they don't even speak or cook French for the price , the only thing that is are the French Fries.

Don't buy any Coke fly Delta or AA back home or buy a Nats ticket there either if you want to keep USA type events around
