Why was I seated next to bathroom at a fancy resurant?

I was seated next to the bathroom at a fancy steakhouse. I was dressed business professional and my date was very attractive. Could it be I was in my 20’s and all the old people got the good seats? Or is it because i’m Asian and everyone else was white? I’m a good looking guy as I modeled a bit in High School. Then again I made reservations and didn’t specify where I wanted to be seated.

They sat you there because you let them. What a pussy!! Your date definitely noticed & I am sure she's talking to her friends about it. Speak up, tell them the table by the ass smelling restroom isn't acceptable!!!
My wife knows how I respond to this crap & understands my standards. She's usually ready to demand better seating or we leave. It's a simple matter of controlling your own happiness!!

I used to work at a local steak house. Our manager told us that orientals often like to order kimchee and they didn't want to haul anything stinky all the way through the dining room as it would make the entire place smell like shit. So we were supposed to get them as close to the kitchen as possible. Blacks also go there and very close to the bathrooms or in the section of the black waiter since they don't tip.

I’m not that kind of Asian, i’m Turkish. Technically i’m white if you ask the census. I have fair skin and light colored eyes but my name is a dead give away. If you saw me you’r automatically assume I was a typical white guy. I forgot to mention that the table was out in the open and I wasn’t necessarily tucked away. Everyone that walked in saw us and were essentially in the spotlight. The servers and manager constantly came and checked up on us. So maybe I guess it wasn’t the worst seat? Idk I just don’t have much experience in this. I tipped well btw. I think the poster above might be right that I was a pussy. Lol

You should have stayed at the beginning that you were Turkish, when you say Asian, naturally people think you are a chink. Now we know you’re a sandnigger.

So basically you’re a whiny ungrateful bastard looking for a reason to be offended when an establishment was trying to treat you well. What an asshole. You’ve wasted all our time with your fake tale of woe. You can make it up to us by posting pictures of that attractive girlfriend of yours. Preferably nudes.

OP sounds like he is warming up to the NOVA way. He now knows he can do better though. Don't just be a dick after fact, raise a huge fucking stink and make a big scene right there in the restaurant to remind them of how NOVA people demand the spoils of the very richest among us. When he gets really good, he will demand the manager and quietly tell him that he will take a shit on the table if not given a private room immediately for free, then tell him that staff must knock before entering because his date will be sucking him off in the private room.

B/C you diddun tip the Maitre D when you came in. If you doan tip the greedy little bastard, they put you near the latrine or the kitchen. If you're near the latrine, you smell the piss & the crap. If you're near the kitchen, you smell everybody's din din plus you keep hearing the racket from the doors constantly busting open & people yelling. When they try to give you those tables, just leave. You'd be better of at Mickey D's or Boogar King & it will cost you a lot less. Of course, you probably won't get another date with her, but you didn't really like her anyhow.

Take a fat girl to McDees, and let her order off of the drive thru menu. Park in the back parking lot and suggest she should suck you off if she wants a ride home.

Is this true? How much should I have tipped him? The guy at the front was the manager.

In college, I used to wait tables and my wife was a hostess. Table assignment is almost always based on what waiter needs another table. Tables are usually assigned in sections to waiters at the beginning of the night and depending on number of patrons in a party and how busy it was that night, the “front of the house” manager tries to make sure it is fair for all the waiters to get generally the same amount of sales so the tips end up being about the same. So it’s never personal. An exception might be if you are in a fancy restaurant that is not 100% busy, then the best looking and “most expensive” looking people will be sat near the windows.
I went to a fairly famous restaurant in Chicago. There was a long wait and the manager would pick people out of line for a select few of the “best tables” and they were all the early thirties and most professional looking people but not based on race. A black guy in a suit is always going to be treated the same as some redneck in a tank top although systemic racism does exist in some restaurants. There are other things like trying to group loud people near each other, families in the same section and obvious drinkers near the bar, but rarely is race a consideration. I did work with a waitress that used to call black people “Canadians” and she’s get mad if she got too many “Canadians” because she didn’t think they tipped well. But she was a racist and probably treated them differently. I never noticed a difference in tips that I can remember. Maybe Europeans didn’t tip as well but that’s because they generally don’t tip the same way we do in Europe.

Because you revealed yourself that you don't belong. That's why they seated you there. You must be an immigrant. You simply don't know the norms here. Otherwise you wouldn't call yourself asian. You will learn over time how to stand up for your rights and express yourself within the norms.

C'mon Man: The Best Seat in any Establishment is 'Always' near the Bathroom: You get to see most of the Women (for future reference) in the Place as they pass on by to the Restroom. You are an ignorant/whiny bitch.

I didn’t bring up the fact that my date was also a man. Could this be discrimination? I would hate for all homosexuals such as myself to have to sit near the rest room, like I was forced to do. Being a Turkish man and dating a Greek man has its ups and downs. And ins and outs.

wERE YOU SEATED AT A SMALL SIZED TABLE BECAUSE THERE WERE JUST TWO OF YOU? Restaurants have a pecking order. The tables that seat the large parties are in the central easy to get to areas of the restaurant, and they should be nearer the kitchen to help get food out quickly. The small tables for one or two persons will be farthest away and in the not so nice locations because the tips they get and the order from just one or two people will be minimal. If you go as a single, you might never get in at all--that has happened to me, to the point where I would just turn around and leave the restaurant when all the multiple parties would be allowed in for over an hour and I would still be sitting in the waiting area hoping for a table to open up for a single person. It is all about the money that can be gained with the temporary "rental" of a table.

You din't mention you was a rump ranger. Rump rangers what don't tip are usually difficult custs. so they're not gonna give you no good table nohow. Besides, they figure since you're turd burglars, it's OK to put you near the bathroom b\C you're used to the smell of poo.

Your problem is your third world restaurant choice. No reputable restaurant is going to be configured with a bathroom can be detected nasally or otherwise from any of the seats. If there was a plumbing backup to blame they still should have offered some kind of compensation.

Open up your mouth and go East L.A. on those bitches. Don't take whatever shitty seats they give you. If you stay silent, next time they will seat you on the toilet. You can pass rolls to your date underneath the stall walls. You can eat your meal and take a shit at the same time!

Gotta take a shit, gotta take a shit, up where the grass grows (grass grows)
Oh it's so comfortable to take a shit,
So please, oh please don't resist it.
When you GOTTA take a shit,
Just GOTTA take a shit,
