In NYC I take this one but I like Italian seafood also. If Frank liked it Patsy's its more then good enough for me. I used to get their sauce at Giant and make spaghetti bolognaise but its not available any more around here . It was great but expensive like Raos is too.

We had McDonalds. Three hour post wedding reception/party and my wife and I probably had about 10 bites to eat. My wife's sister was supposed to pack up some of the food for us, but she was off scrumping one of the other guests and forgot.

I've been to Trattoria Il Panino in Boston about a half dozen times on business trips and twice with my family traveling to Maine in summer, nothing here can compare but Pizza Bazzano came close in Ravensworth center seconded by Sam's Pizza in Annandale long ago .

Trattoria Il Panino is a place that NOVA really is missing out on but 7-11's pizza can give them a real run for the money , all that aside the prices were reasonable for such a really great Italian resturauant . They have a large menu and they know how to properly prepare every bit of it

Il Porto on King St. In Alexandria is pretty good.

Mr Ray Giovanni opened Il Porto in 1970 renovating it to become the first Italian Resturauant in Old Town Alexandria and was a big part of the early 70's renovation that brought Old Town back to a prosperous business community . He formerly owned Summit Manor across from Koons Ford at the top of that hill on Rt 50 and Rt 7 .

After opening and owning Il Porto MR Ray opened Fishmarket in the mid 1970's and owned it until 1997 at his death in May , he was a generous man who opened literally dozens of restaurant's during his lifetime the first in Daytona Beach Florida called Old Timers. Mr Ray also was a part of the custom car scene in Daytona in the late 50's .Mr Ray opened so many restaurants successfully that he also owned a restaurant supply company to provide the cooking equipment .
