Is there Y2KX bug in arrest/ticket search?

I cannot find any arrest in 2010, and I know the ghetto street around me has some arrest this year. I tried looking up other 2010 arrests, and nothing. There are some in January, but nothing outside of that.

The format of how FCPD releases the arrest data changed and I don't think Cary has modded the search to adjust.

Well according to my search, you may mean something different but it came up with 30245 arrests/tickets.

arrest search is working fine, kudos to the admin for maintaining the database. it sounds like this pgens was just speaking out of his ass in a desperate attempt to sound relevant and intelligent.

steve 2k

2007 had 177421 records or 14,782/month
2008 had 193009 records or 16,084/month
2009 had 217907 records or 18,158/month
2010 has 30245 records or 6,049/month

Must be one hell of a crime reduction or somethings broke.

No need to give numbers, it is easier for people to just post that I am an asshole for giving the answer. I have collected that data since before this site went up and know it changed.

the arrest search is working fine it's just the police database changed their formatting so harvesting isn't possible like it used to be. thanks Cary for keeping this one of a kind resource and just ignore the pgens of the board that try to discredit it somehow because they don't like their name in the arrest search. I'm willing to bet this pgens was the one that shut down the site with the arrest search complaint.

JR must be searching for "date:2010 offence:prost"

Maybe this article explains:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/06/AR2010060603219.html

Fairfax County police launched a computer system in January that was supposed to eliminate mountains of paperwork and allow officers to enter traffic tickets, arrest data and vital intelligence into an online system that would be instantly available to detectives and anyone who needed it.
