That's like the McD's in Herndon, down near the clock tower on Centreville Road. They advertise as being open 24 Hours, but twice when I went there after Midnight, they shut the lights off as soon as we began to pull-up.

Pack do you ever take that personally? I think I know that mcD's. I was staying at the Dulles Westin and after ordering their disgusting soup I went out looking for something more filling. It seems that McD's is the only thing around after midnight. I eat it but I hated every bite . I got a good price there, 50/night. My water was disconnected and after trying to resolve the issue with their outsourced Philpino customer service I finally got it restored after a month and driving into DC. What do you folks do out there for fun? I am tired of being a punching bag for illegals.

Stop by 7-11 and pick up a banana, a bag of nuts, a granola bar, and a small bottle of milk. It's much better than eating McD's and it's always open.

Lol, yeah, I do kind of take is personally somewhat, but I figure, hey, it's their loss if they don't want to make more money. As for the illegals, luckily I'm in Reston, so Herndon has acted like the sponge absorbing the illegal hordes away from us, but it's a pain, that's for sure. I went to Middle and High school in Herndon, and it was one hell of a culture shock at first (My elementary school was mostly black/white, with some Arabs, Asians, and Africans).

For fun we used to all chill at Town Center, or hit up house parties and the like. The food court near Westfield High School (Off of Rte. 28) used to be a really popping spot on the weekends for people with hooked-up cars, until some idiots decided to race and crash, then the cops shut down all the meet-ups. Sometimes late-at-night my friends would drag race on the empty Co. Pkwy too, but that was rare. Nowadays I hit up the ice rink to play hockey, the gym, or just chill with friends (Most of my friends have moved out to Loudoun, which is a serious PITA!). Sometimes I go to the shooting range too (Blue Ridge), and this month I'm bouncing to the race track with my car. On a side note, I'm glad that they finally gave us the Air & Space Museum out here, and the iMAX theater. That was a big plus. I wish that we also had the baseball stadium.

Western Fairfax is a good spot, because there's not as much congestion as inside the Beltway. However, I do wish that we could finally kick the wetbacks out. I'm starting to see more-and-more of them moving into Reston, and taking up all the job positions at the shopping centers. I'm just glad that I don't live in Herndon though.

You know Meeps I have never thought of 7-11 as a spot for food, but you are right your suggestions weren't artifical containing foods but dare I say it. . . Healthy? Great idea, but the milk must be lactose free.

Once while in Michael's in the Pan Am shopping ctr. a complete stranger came up to me and just started yaking away to me about politics, gas prices and then she asked me to move to Herndon. She began complaining about the illegals, I never said a word about my politics or nothing. . .odd? Or not?

7-11 buys from the same regional wholesalers that other local places do. They're a corporation that stocks their shelves with the most economical product available, just like anyone else. And I seriously doubt their bananas come all the way from China.

A lot of convenience stores are selling those Odwalla fruit drinks. Those will usually fill you up if you're hungry, especially that puke green Superfood one.
