One problem with your analysis. While it is true, in retrospect, that some on the left (Pelosi, DeBlasio, etc.) said things about the virus that were unfortunate, the information that these lefties had, at the time, came from the administration. The administration led by Trump. Who was, in Trump's own words, downplaying the virus and its potential effects. That Trump would lie about the severity of the epidemic for a perceived political gain is reprehensible, but typical. But unless you are prepared to say that everything that came out of the administration about the virus in those days was presumptively bullshit (a reasonable position, as it turns out), it is hard to blame the left too much for taking stands that Trump himself would encourage.
However, I will grant you this. The statement laying 500,000 dead on Trump was a bit extreme. Many of those would have died anyway, even if Trump had put the country before his own perceived political advantage. I'll knock the number down by 80-90%. Which means Trump's narcissistic "response" to the Covid epidemic was directly responsible for only about 50,000-100,000 dead Americans. Fair is fair.
A few college courses, such as a logic course, may help you see things more clearly. NVCC is just down the road after all, and they'll accept just about anyone. Consider it.
