where to buy cheap ground anchors for a swingset?

I searched the internet, Home Depot has a set for $16 but it is online only. Where can I get a set of anchors in store (local) with less than $25?

You searched the entire Internet and Home Depot is the only site that lists them?

is it really a good idea to save a few dollars on a safety-related item?

I myself am a cheapskate on everything, except when it comes to the safety
of myself and others that I care about. Period.

just concrete it into the ground. Concrete is not too expensive.

I agree with the concrete idea. You can just dig the holes pour in the mix and then add water. Simple job and cheap but that swingset aint going nowhere once it sets.

I agree, unless they have made big changes in the gound anchors they don't hold as well as a little concrete mix. When you dig your holes make them wider at the bottom. This will help to hold the set in place better.

I doubt the swing set's legs are long enough to concrete into the ground to a proper depth. I think I'd cut stakes out of angle iron and bolt the legs to them.

Places that sell swing sets don't have them?

so what you do is drill a hole or two in the bottom of each swingset support pole, and put a 12 inch both thru each hole and secure it. Then you dig a hole minimum of 10 inches deep for each support post and put the swingset in the holes. you'll need maybe 2 bags of concrete. and 4 or 8 bolts. Then the holes dont have to be too deep and it is not going to move.

Now what are you meaning about the angle iron idea?

I cannot find any in local stores. Ordered one package on the internet with good reviews. Hopefully I can have it installed this weekend. Thanks for the response.
