"Metro General Manager Paul Wiedefeld said Monday the proposed 2021 budget includes closing metro rail at 9 p.m., ending weekend service, closing 19 stations and reducing the number of trains, which would result in longer wait times."

I hope the Federal and local governments call their bluff. Fuck the Metro. Shut the piece of shit down. Rip up the rails and turn it all into jogging/biking/walking paths.

Did you read the article? It clearly states the changes wouldn't take effect until July.

Looks like they are purposely targeting (punishing??) Northern Virginia. Greensboro and Mclean? Virginia Square and Clarendon? And East Falls Church is ridiculous...that leaves a huge gap between West Falls Church and Ballston.

They are targeting those areas because they know whitey will pay up. The shortfall is in the nigger areas along the green line because nogs apparently ride for free now - either they are allowed (niglets) or the grownups just hop over the gate and there is no enforcement any more. So we need more money from the white people so the niggers can ride for free out to Tysons and further west so they can shoplift.
