Biden won 45% of the in person votes but 20% of the absentee votes, how is that possible?
Posted by: Fairfax Voter ()

Trump had 84K in person votes and almost the same 84K absentee votes. Meanwhile Biden had 98K in person votes and 321K absentee votes. I'm calling bullshit on that. I doubt if we can fix this election but Republicans need to start paying more attention to the vote counting. The Democrats are stealing these elections and ruining our county.

How is it possible? Were you not paying attention this past fall? Almost every "disreputable" news source was reporting record levels of early voting with most of those early votes going to Biden. The same story was being told here and in Harris County Texas. Democrats were actively pushing their supporters to get out and vote early. Meanwhile the chatter coming from the right was to make sure your vote counted, vote on election day.

As to the percentages that went for Biden here, the 9th Congressional District went for Trump by almost the same amount. If it is possible for Trump to trounce Biden heavily in rural southwest Virginia, why is it not possible for Biden to trounce Trump just as heavily in the far more populous northern Virginia.

Stop living in your echo chamber. The last Republican presidential candidate to win Fairfax County as a whole was George W. Bush in 2000. The last Republican to win Fairfax County as a whole was Bob McDonnell in 2009. That was also the last year when Republicans managed to win in a Virginia state as a whole race. Hanover, Spottsylvania and Roanoke Counties were probably the only three places in Virginia with a population over 50,000 that Trump won in 2020.

The only coup going on is the one Trump is trying to pull. There are only two ways for Republicans to "fix" this. One is to run candidates that appeal to moderate Virginians rather than candidates who appeal to the right wing base. The other is to prevent Democrats from voting.

No one is claiming that Trump won Fairfax County. What happened was that the Dems used their majority in the large county to pad votes for the state wide contests. A simple audit of the mail in ballots will reveal any irregularities. Would the Dems agree to that or do they have something to hide?

If you pay for it, go for it. I dont want to foot the bill for a audit built on flimsy thinking.
Simple my ass.
Expensive as hell just for you who cannot accept that something within mathematical probability and a historical view.
Wanting to agree or not, do not mean you a right. However, pretty certain if you are paying, people are buying.

Conservatives need to get with the program and start cheating like the libtards. I see republicans over and over reporting that they got 5 official mail-in ballots and "this needs to be investigated". Well guess what...so did your libtard neighbor. While you were on the phone with Seven On Your Side that libtard was filling his out and mailing them in.

That's why they won.

Whatever it takes to help you deal with the fact that YOU LOST. More people voted against your candidate than voted for him. Just like in 2016. Your candidate is extremely disliked. He would be extremely disliked if he had run as a Democrat...which at one time he claimed to be.

It’s really easy so I’m only going to explain it once and will leave you all to wear your tin hats for the next 4 years of a Biden presidency....

Trump spent the better part of a year telling his supporters not to vote by mail. Biden encouraged people to vote by mail so as to not put them at risk of the virus (because he’s a human being that cares about people). Votes cast in person are quicker to be counted so initially Trump looked like he had leads, then they counted absentee ballots and those from large cities (who always go Democrat) were some of the last votes to be counted.

No voter fraud. Give it up sore losers. You have to assume Trump planned this all to play out this way and knew his followers would believe it. The damage it is doing to our country is awful. He’s a terrible human being who clearly only cares about himself and not the country.

How many House seats switched to Red? 12? 13? Impossible that so many races across the nation went Republican but somehow Trump lost. Massive voter fraud in Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee, Detroit, Fairfax County, Vegas, and Phoenix.

Good job, now China is happy, Wall Street is happy, the big drug companies are happy. What does that mean? Bad news for all of us.

Expensive? Every single bond issue on the ballot passed, if there is voter fraud in the county the people who are cheating sure like to spend our money. An audit would pay for itself if we can stop spending money on every crap project. Any who audits the bond money? Nobody. Everyone knows that those are just cash grabs.

You’re right but remember you’re speaking to people that are as smart as a cucumber. They are blind sheep that are completely lost because they are waiting for their next direction from Trump. Trump thinks his own supporters are morons also which is why he says what he does. Trump knows he lost but knows his idiot followers will believe anything

Find a bond issue in the past 20 years that didn't pass. In presidential elections, midterm elections and state/local elections they pass. Judging by the margins many Republicans have been voting for them.

OTOH the meals tax was put on the ballot in 2016 because County Administrators were convinced that in a presidential campaign Democratic turnout would be high and Democratic voters would support it. Instead the high turnout worked against the meals tax as large numbers of Democrats voted against it.

You want an audit because you think it would be in the public interest. Then you pay for it. If the audit resulted in a shit of power in 2023 I am sure the new Board of Supervisors would vote to reimburse you.
