President Donald Trump has a 91 per cent chance of winning the November 2020 election, according to a political science professor who has correctly predicted five out of six elections since 1996.

“The Primary Model gives Trump a 91 percent chance of winning in November,” Stony Brook professor Helmut Norpoth told Mediaite on Tuesday.

The professor also said the model, which predicted Mr Trump’s election in 2016, worked partially by discounting opinion surveys.

A DEMOCRAT Florida man is facing felony charges after allegedly spray painting anti-racism phrases on 100 stop signs, according to the Port Orange Police Department.

The word “racism” or the phrase “I can’t breathe” were found spray-painted beneath the word “Stop" on stop signs around Port Orange causing an estimated $12,500 in damage last month, according to police records.

Police obtained surveillance video from the areas where the vandalism occurred which allowed them to identify vehicles connected to the incidents and a suspect: 32-year-old Zachary Kato.

Officers began conducting surveillance on Kato and executed a search warrant at his home on Friday. A search warrant was executed at his home on Friday where police found appliance epoxy spray paint, stencils and a receipt for the purchase of spray paint and stencils.

Police said the lettering on the signs matched the size and style of the stencils found in Kato's home.

“You can lock me up and throw away the key," Kato said while police searched his home, according to the affidavit. "I want to see a judge and jury tell me that speaking out against fucking racism is wrong."

Police also seized Kato’s cellphone and found pictures of stencils stapled together, the vandalized signs and screenshots of online posts about the graffiti. Kato said in an Instagram message that the graffiti was written with appliance epoxy paint that would be too difficult to scrub off and would force the city to paint over the signs.

Congratulations. That is one of the posts I've seen by a Trump supporter on why a Trump win in November should not be a surprise. No chest thumping or false bravado or MAGA Baby, but instead actual analysis.

I don't see Biden losing ground in the battleground states yet. What I see is Republicans and other conservatives who are not happy with Trump rallying around him. However the factors that you mention have a strong potential to play into Trump's hands. A clear majority of potential American voters don't approve of Trump. That opposition is not united beyond that. If Biden leans too far in supporting the radicals he risks alienating the moderates. If he doesn't lean far enough the radicals may not turn out and vote in sufficient numbers in November. Biden has more at risk from the next few months than Trump does.

The big swing was in the number of supposedly undecided or third party candidates from the polling numbers who ended up voting for Trump. It was the Cuccinelli Effect played out on the national scene.

Besides what matters isn't the national popular vote but the vote on the state level. In every state but one that Trump carried in 2016 the poll numbers were consistently showing a close race.

As an observer of conventions and presidential campaigns going back to 1956, I am confident in predicting that this week’s Democratic National Convention will be the high-water mark before the collapse of the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket.

First, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is clearly incapable of functioning as president. Every time he comes out from hiding in the basement, it is embarrassingly clear that he could not possibly negotiate with Chinese Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping or Russian President Vladimir Putin to any positive effect.

He is performing weaker and weaker with each passing week. Even when his campaign can control every aspect of his events or appearances, there is something pathetic about Biden’s inability to project strength or articulate any firm ideas.

Chris Wallace captured the absurdity of a presidential candidate trying to hide his way to the White House with a “basement strategy,” when he told Guy Benson, “It’s the damnedest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Matthew Banta 'dropped into the fetal position,' investigators said

An Antifa leader known as Commander Red was busted carrying a flamethrower to a Wisconsin Black Lives Matter rally — and “dropped into the fetal position and began crying” when stopped by cops, officials said.

Matthew Banta, 23, is “known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests,” a criminal complaint in his Green Bay arrest record insisted, according to WBAY.

He was carrying stickers and a flag for the controversial group — the name of which is short for “anti-fascist” — along with “military-grade 5-minute” smoke grenades, fireworks rockets, and a flamethrower, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Banta was stopped after being spotted with “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets” heading toward a BLM event in Green Bay, police said in the criminal complaint.



At the time of Saturday’s arrest, Banta was out on a $10,000 cash bond after being accused of pointing a loaded gun at a police officer as well as biting and kicking a cop at a protest earlier this month, the report said.

A condition of his bond was that he can’t have a dangerous weapon, according to the Brown County district attorney’s office.

The reviews are in for the CNN town hall featuring Joe Biden... and they aren't great.

What has been described as the "softball" treatment of the former VP by CNN was widely panned on Thursday night, especially following the grilling President Trump faced at the ABC News town hall on Tuesday.

"In the first moments, the contrast between what Trump was asked and what Biden is being asked is striking," Politico columnist Jeff Greenland tweeted, later writing. "Biden is doing very well, yes. But this is not exactly getting him ready to face tough questions from a Chris Wallace or Jake Tapper (should he decide to do so)."

According to analysis from NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck, of the 16 participants who asked Biden questions, 13 of them, over a whopping 80 percent were identified as Democrats. Only three were identified as Republicans.

That was in stark contrast to the town hall attendees Trump faced on ABC News, which featured four Trump voters, three Hillary Clinton voters, one Jill Stein voters, three non-voters, and one unidentified.

Others picked up on the slanted questions at the CNN town hall.

"Has CNN asked a question to anyone who's not a Democrat? (may have missed)," The Daily Beast politics reporter Hanna Trudo asked about the overwhelming presence of Democratic voters before deleting her tweet.

Report says Obama administration 'ignored the glaring warning signs' when Biden's son joined board of the company

The Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committees on Wednesday released an interim report on their monthslong joint investigation into Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings and his alleged “extensive and complex financial transactions.”

Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said their investigation has “faced many obstacles” from Democrats on their committees.

The 87-page report stated that Obama administration officials “knew” that Hunter Biden’s position on the board of Burisma was “problematic” and that it interfered “in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine.”

“This investigation has illustrated the extent to which officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch,” the report’s executive summary stated.

“Even though Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board cast a shadow over the work of those advancing anticorruption reforms in Ukraine, the Committees are only aware of two individuals who raised concerns to their superiors,” the Senate report stated. “Despite the efforts of these individuals, their concerns appear to have fallen on deaf ears.”

The report stated that State Department official George Kent, who testified during Trump’s impeachment hearings last year, and Amos Hochstein, the former U.S. special envoy and coordinator for International Energy Affairs, raised concerns to the former vice president’s office.

The Senate committees also revealed in the report that they obtained records from the U.S. Treasury Department, which “show potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals.”

The committees stated that they received records that Hunter Biden “sent thousands of dollars” to individuals who have “either been involved in transactions consistent with possible human trafficking; an association with the adult entertainment industry; or potential association with prostitution.”

Conclusion

I haven’t made a call about Pennsylvania yet. So far the battleground states are Florida (Trump:29 votes), Michigan (Biden:16 votes), Minnesota (Biden:10 votes), North Carolina (Trump:15 votes), Ohio (Trump:18 votes), and Wisconsin (Biden:10 votes). I don’t think Ohio is really a battleground state.

If Trump wins North Carolina (very likely), Florida (coin toss), and Pennsylvania (coin toss) he will win the election. Alternatively, Donald Trump can still win the election if he can deliver an upset victory in Michigan, and win Florida. A third way for Trump to win the election is by winning Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Florida. So, assuming that Trump wins Florida and North Carolina, his probability of winning the election is about 65%.

I don’t believe Joe Biden has an 85% chance of winning the election right now. I am certain that the outcome of this election is still extremely uncertain.

If Biden wins it is reasonably possible for him to carry Florida, North Carolina and Arizona. Georgia and Iowa would be a stretch. If Trump wins it is reasonably possible that he may carry Wisconsin and Minnesota, with Nevada as a stretch. President Donald Trump has a very good chance of winning the 2020 presidential election against Joe Biden, if a more than 200-year overview of the stock market is to be believed.

That's according to research from the Socionomic Institute, a group that has long used the stock market to predict elections and economic and cultural trends.

The research, going back to George Washington, found 16 times in U.S. history when an incumbent president ran for reelection and the stock market was up more than 20% in the preceding three years. In 14 of those 16 times, the incumbent won reelection, giving a success rate of 87%. If the trend holds, Mr. Trump could be No. 15.

Joe Biden heads into Election Day preferred by voters who have already cast their ballots early. President Trump has a lead among those who plan to show up on November 3. Doubtful Biden's lead will hold up.

If we want to talk historical trends consider this. Five U.S. presidents were elected to their first term without winning a plurality of the popular vote. Four of those sought re-election. Three lost. The only one who won was George W. Bush. That's a failure rate of 75%.
