were there any movie(famous or not so famous) scenes fimled in Fairfax County?

The only one that I can think of is Die Hard 2 featuring Dulles Airport
(but they didn't actually filmed)

there are plenty featuring DC and Arlington...

They are filming some scenes from "National Treasure 2" in the Mount Vernon area this week.

The First Kid was filmed almost entirely in Tysons Corner and a scene of Forces of Nature in Dullas...

lmao.. i didnt realize the mall scene in "First Kid" was @ tysons...

Then tehres that movie with Bruce Willis & the autistic kid filmed all over the area.. 1 scene that really stuck out was when they were along the side of 66 and the kid somehow got onto the tracks... oh ya "Mercury Rising"

Full Metal Jacket was filmed in a private hs in Culpeper, i dont remember which one but both my brothers went there.

It was in the Galleria, Tysons 2. I saw them film the shot where they shot the bad guy, and my brother took a couple gumballs from the machine that exploded.

Donnie Darko was filmed in Cali, but the setting was ro look like Fairax County, where the writer/director, Rickard Kelly grew up.
